Youth Camps

Winter Camps & Clinics

Are you looking for something fun to do during your holiday break? Come work on your baseball skills! These one or two-day camps will cover all things baseball: hitting, fielding, throwing, catching and base running. Players will also participate in fun games to put their new skills to the test!

All of the below camps and clinics will be hosted at the Park District of La Grange: 536 East Ave., La Grange, IL 60525

Holiday Camp

Cost: $120

Session One:

MLK Jr. Day Camp

Cost: $65

SoxFest Kids Camp

presented by Wintrust Junior Savers Club®

New to the SoxFest Live weekend, the White Sox will hold a Kids Camp, presented by Wintrust Junior Savers Club®, on Saturday, January 25 at 2 p.m. at the Chicago Park District’s ComEd Rec Center near Pilsen. Young baseball and softball players (ages 5-12) are invited to learn from the White Sox Elite coaching staff that includes former players and coaches from some of the area’s top travel programs. Rotating through a series of fun and instructional baseball activities, such as hitting, pitching and fielding drills, participants also will meet White Sox players scheduled to attend.

Equipment

Each participant will need to bring his/her own equipment. Here is what to bring/wear:

  • Baseball Glove
  • Baseball Bat
  • Batting Helmet
  • Filled Water Bottle
  • Wear baseball cleats or gym shoes. If you are wearing cleats to an outdoor location, please bring gym shoes in case the camp moves indoors due to inclement weather. NO METAL SPIKES.
  • Wear baseball pants or sweatpants and protective gear
  • Please have your child's gear labeled so it is not misplaced or taken accidentally by another child.
