The Twins are proud to be a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon company and honor others at Target Field. Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is a program pioneered by the Minnesota National Guard to connect all Minnesota service members and their families with community support, services and resources. Twice a month, the Twins recognize companies and organizations in their dedication to Beyond the Yellow Ribbon, service members and their families with an on-field pregame ceremony.
Military Support
The Minnesota Twins are proud to have many programs that honor the many active and veteran members of our armed services who reside in Twins Territory.
7,250 tickets donated to military families throughout the year.
The Twins offer free tickets to military members and their families throughout the season, and offer discounted tickets every Monday home game. Through partnerships with many organizations like Vet Tix, Disabled American Vets and Minnesota Veterans 4 Veterans, military members have access to numerous games throughout the season.

Recognizing the National Guard
Throughout the season, the Twins honor and recognize Minnesota National Guard units from across the state. Units are recognized for their outstanding service and dedication. Representatives from select National Guard units attend a game and are invited to come on the field for a pre-game ceremony. The ceremony highlights their achievements and describes their duties while distinguishing each person by name.
Armed Forces Appreciation Day
Every year, the Twins hold an annual "Armed Forces Appreciation Day" that honors veterans and active service members from all five branches of the military. The celebration includes special pregame festivities and more than 1,000 donated tickets.
Activities consist of a fly over with WWII-era planes, a memorial tribute to service members from Twins Territory, and the Minnesota Military Appreciation Fund presenting checks to Purple Heart recipients. Armed Forces members are also invited to take part in the starting lineup with current Twins players and stand on the field in solidarity during the National Anthem.
Flag Raiser Program
At every Twins game, a veteran is honored before the singing of the National Anthem. The veteran is graciously thanked for their service, receives a rousing ovation and raises the American flag during the Star Spangled Banner with family and friends by their side.
Employed Veterans
The Minnesota Twins are proud to recruit and hire veterans for full and part-time positions with organization. Currently more than 100 veterans work for the Twins.
Twins Host TAPS Families
The Twins host Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) families throughout the season at Twins home games.
