Kris Atteberry begins his first season as the Twins radio lead play-by-play voice after 17 seasons hosting the Pregame Lineup Card and Postgame Download on the Twins Radio Network as well as providing play-by-play and analysis for select games. Kris has also called men’s and women’s college basketball on CBS Sports Network.

Kris joined the Twins after spending five summers (2002-06) calling games on radio and television for the St. Paul Saints. Prior to joining the Saints, Kris spent three seasons as the lead broadcaster for the Sioux Falls Canaries. Additionally, he has broadcast men’s basketball at Cal State Fullerton, as well as basketball, volleyball and baseball at Pepperdine University. From 2002 to 2006 he served as the voice of Montana State football and basketball, twice earning Montana Sportscaster of the Year accolades.

Atteberry, 51, is a native of Bozeman, MT and a 1996 graduate of Stanford University where, in addition to earning a degree in English Literature, he was awarded a National Association of Athletic Directors post-graduate scholarship for his broadcast work with Cardinal athletics.

Kris, his wife, Jennifer, and daughter, Jessica, reside in southwest Minneapolis.

Former Twin Dan Gladden enters his 26th year in the Twins radio broadcast booth and his 22nd as a full-time analyst.

Gladden played in the major leagues for 11 years and retired from professional baseball following the 1994 season. He finished his career batting .270 with 203 doubles, 40 triples, 74 home runs, 446 RBI and 222 stolen bases in 1,197 games.

He made his big league debut in 1983 with the San Francisco Giants, with whom he played for three seasons, and was named to both Topps and Baseball Digest All-Rookie teams in 1984. He was acquired along with pitcher David Blakely by Minnesota in exchange for pitchers Jose Dominguez, Bryan Hickerson and Ray Velasquez on March 31, 1987 and spent five years with the Twins before signing as a free agent with Detroit in 1992. He spent his last year in professional baseball playing for the Yomiuri Giants of the Japan Central League in 1994. From there, Gladden was a major league advance scout for the Colorado Rockies from 1996-98 and a minor league roving instructor for San Francisco in 1999.

Gladden was inducted to the Twins Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2022, and was a key ingredient in the Twins 1987 and 1991 World Championship teams. His grand slam in Game 1 of the 1987 Series vs. St. Louis capped a seven-run fourth inning and he scored the game-winning run in the 10th inning in Game 7 of the 1991 Series vs. Atlanta.

Dan and his wife, Janice, make their home in Eden Prairie, MN. His daughter Ashley is married to Joe Gaetti, son of Twins Hall of Famer Gary Gaetti, and lives in Minnesota with their two children, Luca and Malone. Daughter Whitney currently also lives in Minnesota with son, Maxwell.

Paul Molitor joined the Twins front office during the 2021 season. The National Baseball Hall of Famer played 21 seasons with Milwaukee (1978-92), Toronto (1993-95) and Minnesota (1996-98).

Molitor's responsibilities include assisting the baseball operations department with minor league instruction during both minor league spring training and at the Twins' affiliates during the regular season. He will also join the Twins radio broadcast for select games in 2024.

He managed the Twins for four seasons from 2015-18 (305-343, .471) and was named the American League Manager of the Year in 2017 after guiding the Twins to a record of 85-77 and an American League Wild Card berth. Prior to his time as manager, he was an assistant coach for the Twins in 2014, minor league baserunning/infield coordinator for the Twins in 2003 and from 2005-13, hitting coach for Seattle in 2004 and bench coach for Minnesota from 2000-01.

The St. Paul native was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2004 (first ballot) and is one of just seven players in baseball history (Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner, Eddie Collins, Lou Brock, Rickey Henderson and Ichiro Suzuki) to amass at least 3,000 hits, 500 stolen bases and a .300 batting average-or higher. The University of Minnesota alumnus (1975-77) was originally drafted by the Brewers with the third overall pick in the 1977 First-Year Player Draft and ranks 10th on baseball's all-time list in hits (3,319), 15th in doubles (605), 16th in at-bats (10,835), 20th in runs (1,782), 35th in games (2,683) and 39th in stolen bases (504). He was named to seven AL All-Star teams (1980, '85, '88, '91, '92, '93 and '94), won four Louisville Silver Slugger Awards (1987, '88, '93 and '96), won both the Branch Rickey Award and Players Choice Man of the Year Award in 1998, and was named World Series Most Valuable Player for the 1993 Toronto Blue Jays.

The 2024 season will mark Minnesota native Perkins’ sixth season in a broadcasting role for the Twins, after beginning as a pre and post-game analyst in 2019. He is slated to serve both in that role and as a color analyst for select Twins television broadcasts in 2024. Perk will also be mixed into a handful of radio analyst duties for the 2024 season, joining Kris Atteberry and Dan Gladden.

The St. Paul native was selected by the Twins in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2004 First-Year Player Daft out of the University of Minnesota. The southpaw made his major league debut on September 21, 2006 and spent his entire 12-year career with the Twins, going 35-25 with a 3.88 ERA (624.1 IP, 269 ER), 120 saves, 158 walks and 504 strikeouts in 409 games (44 starts). He ranks among the club’s all-time pitching leaders in saves (3rd), games finished (228, 5th) and games played (6th).

Perkins is one of eight players in Twins history to spend their entire career (min. 10 years played) with the club. He was also a three-time All-Star (2013-15) and earned the save in the American League’s 5-3 win in the 2014 MLB All-Star Game at Target Field.

Fernandez begins his 17th season with the Minnesota Twins serving as the Spanish play-by-play announcer.

Fernandez also served as the Spanish broadcast voice for the Minnesota Timberwolves from 2005 to 2015.

Fernandez has called the action in Spanish for five other professional sports teams including the Minnesota Vikings (2005-09), the Los Angeles Clippers (1993-95), the Los Angeles Lakers (1988-90) and the Los Angeles Rams (1987-91).

He was the first to broadcast basketball in Spanish in the Los Angeles area and has spent 33 years behind the microphone.

Fernandez and his wife, Rosalia, daughter, Angela, and son, Jared, make their home in White Bear Lake, MN.

Pedro ‘Tony’ Oliva Jr., or ‘Tony-O’ to those who followed his 24-year career as a Twins player and coach, was a man who seemed to excel in all aspects of the game. He could hit for power and average, run, field and throw, and his versatility made him one of the most feared hitters of his day. He was inducted to the National Baseball Hall of Fame on July 24, 2022.

Tony-O collected 1,917 hits and retired with a .304 career average. He is the only player to win batting titles in his first two seasons and was the winner of three in his 15-year career. His prowess as a hitter was demonstrated in the fact that he led the league in hits five times, and his 220 career home runs rank fourth all-time among Twins.

Oliva, the 1964 American League Rookie of the Year, began his coaching career in 1976. He also works as a hitting instructor in the Twins minor league system and scouts for the club. He had his number 6 retired July 14, 1991 and was selected to the Twins 25th Anniversary Team in 1986 and the 40th Season Anniversary All-Time Team in 2000. He was inducted into the Twins Hall of Fame on August 12, 2000, and was named one of the “50 Greatest Twins” in 2010. In 2013, he became the eighth ever recipient of the Herb Carneal Lifetime Achievement Award.

Cory Provus begins his first season as the lead television voice for Minnesota Twins baseball in 2024 after being the lead play-by-play man for the Twins radio broadcast team since 2012. Provus, 45, is a three-time winner (2015, 2020 & 2022) of the Minnesota Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association. Prior to joining the Twins, Provus spent the previous three seasons (2009-11) in Milwaukee, where he did play-by-play with Hall of Famer Bob Uecker on WTMJ-AM and the Brewers Radio Network.

The Chicago native began his MLB broadcast career in 2007 as the Cubs pre- and post-game show host. He also handled play-by-play duties, backing up Hall of Famer Pat Hughes during games and anchored the morning and afternoon drive sportscasts as a reporter for WGN-AM in Chicago. In the offseason, Provus broadcasts college football and basketball for Big Ten Network.

In June of 2006, Provus was named the voice of the University of Alabama Birmingham Blazers, where he handled radio play-by-play for UAB football, men’s basketball and baseball. While at UAB, he was named the 2006 Radio Sportscaster of the Year by the Alabama Broadcasters Association.

Provus also has various experience hosting studio shows, managing production and doing play-by-play for various International Sports Properties. He handled play-by-play for the Conference USA Football Championship Game, the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament and various play-by-play duties for Georgia Tech, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech baseball, football and basketball.

A graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Provus also worked at WAER-FM in Syracuse from 1996-2000, handling radio play-by-play and acting as studio host for Orange football, basketball and lacrosse. Provus, his wife, Dana, and their two kids, make their home in Minnetonka, MN.

Justin Morneau joined the Twins front office on January 17, 2018. Morneau, 42, was drafted by the Twins in the third round of the 1999 First-Year Player Draft and played 14 seasons in the major leagues, including 11 seasons with the Twins from 2003-13. He also played for Pittsburgh, Colorado and Chicago-AL from 2013-16.

The former first baseman played a key role on three different Twins AL Central Division championship teams and won the American League Most Valuable Player Award in 2006. The four-time All-Star played 1,278 games in a Twins uniform, hitting .278 with 221 home runs and 860 RBI. He was elected to the Twins Hall of Fame in 2020 and inducted in 2021. Also, he was inducted into the Rochester Red Wings Hall of Fame in July 2022.

Morneau’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, helping position player development by focusing on transition programs and teaching an understanding of major league expectations, environment and culture. He is also involved in the amateur draft process and as a resource for player acquisitions. Additionally, Morneau serves as an analyst for Twins television broadcasts.

He also serves as a resource for players and coaches in the mental and fundamental aspects of the game. In his role as Special Assistant, Morneau participates in instructional programs and visits all minor league affiliates throughout the season. He works alongside the Baseball Operations staff and uniformed personnel to ensure development in players’ understanding of culture, talent evaluation and organizational vision. In addition, Morneau plays a part in supporting the Twins community efforts, being involved in charities and community work throughout Twins Territory.

The 2024 season will be Roy Smalley’s 22nd season overall in some capacity with the Twins television broadcasts. Smalley played in the major leagues for 13 years, including 10 seasons for the Twins, from 1976-82 and ’85-87. He was a part of the Twins first World Championship team in 1987 and named to the AL All-Star team in 1979.

Smalley also played at the major league level with Texas, New York-AL and Chicago-AL. As a Twin, he hit .262 with 1,046 hits, 184 doubles, 21 triples, 110 home runs, 485 RBI and 551 runs scored in 1,148 games and ranks near the top of many all-time Twins offensive categories. The Los Angeles, CA native played collegiately at the University of Southern California and was inducted into the USC Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007 and the College Baseball Hall of Fame in 2013.

Smalley currently makes his home in Edina, MN and is Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. He serves as President on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit organization Pitch In For Baseball and is an advocate for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities.

LaTroy Hawkins joined the Twins front office on November 28, 2016. Hawkins, 51, was drafted by the Twins in the seventh round of the 1991 First-Year Player Draft and played 21 seasons in the major leagues, with 11 different teams.

Hawkins’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to, contributing to the development of the organizational pitching philosophies used in the selection and development of all players. He contributes to the amateur scouting process and trade deadline preparation meetings. Additionally, Hawkins occasionally serves as an analyst for Twins television broadcasts.

He pitched nine seasons in Minnesota from 1995-2003, appearing in 366 games. The Gary, IN native ranks 10th on baseball’s all-time list in games, appearing in 1,042 total over his 21-year career and 60-plus in 10 different seasons. Hawkins is one of 13 relievers in baseball history to record at least one save against all 30 teams. He was a set-up man on two-straight Twins AL Central Division championship teams in 2002 and 2003, posting an ERA of 2.13 in 65 games in ’02 and 1.86 in 74 games in ’03. In January 2018, he was inducted into the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

The 2024 season will be Trevor's second season as a member of the Twins television broadcast team after working a handful of games during the 2023 season in a pre/post game and color analyst role.

Plouffe played nine seasons in the major leagues, including seven as a member of the Twins, from 2010-16. While with the Twins, he played in 723 games, hitting .247 (651-for-2638) with 148 doubles, 10 triples, 96 home runs, 357 RBI and 332 runs scored. He ranks near the top of several offensive categories in Target Field's history, including home runs (55), games (382), hits (359) and RBI (191). Trevor was drafted by the Twins in the first round (20th overall) of the 2004 First-Year Player Draft out of Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, CA.

Plouffe has been involved in several media endeavors following his playing career, including Jomboy Media, where he co-hosts "Talkin' Baseball," as well as co-hosting a podcast called "Baseball Today" on YouTube.

Denard will be joining the Twins television team in 2024 after working for the Tampa Bay Rays television broadcast team in 2023 as an analyst for Bally Sports Sun.

Span played 11 seasons in Major League Baseball, spending five seasons with the Twins from 2008-12, hitting .284 (669-for-2354) with 104 doubles, 36 triples, 23 home runs, 230 RBI, 360 runs scored and 90 stolen bases; he still ranks 11th on the club's all-time list in steals. The Tampa, FL native was drafted by the Twins in the first round (20th overall) of the 2002 First-Year Player Draft out of Tampa Catholic High School. He was the winner of the Bill Boni Award for Twins Outstanding Rookie in 2008, the Carl R. Pohlad Award for Outstanding Community Service in 2012 and the Mike Augustin Award for Media Good Guy in 2009.

Denard's wife, Anne (Schleper) is a native of St. Cloud, MN and won a silver medal in women's hockey at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi. The couple make their home in the Tampa area with their two sons.
