Attended first career spring training with New York-AL; optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre March 15...Began season making two starts with S/W-B allowing two runs in 11.0 IP...Missed two months with a right shoulder strain; made one rehab start with GCL Yankees; reinstated July 1 and made five starts with S/W-B posting a 2.54 ERA (28.1 IP, 8 ER)...Acquired by Twins from New York-AL on July 30, along with Zack Littell, in exchange for left-handed pitcher Jaime García...Made one start for Triple-A Rochester after being acquired, allowing two runs in 6.0 innings; recalled August 10... Made major league debut August 10 at Milwaukee, allowing two runs (1 earned) on five hits in 2.1 innings pitched and did not factor into the decision; recorded first career hit, an infield single off Zach Davies in the third inning...Placed on 10-day disabled list August 17 with a left shoulder strain, ending his season.
