White Sox avoid arbitration with Vaughn, 3 more

CHICAGO -- The White Sox agreed to terms on one-year contracts with first baseman and right-handed pitchers , and , avoiding arbitration with all four on Thursday.

Vaughn, 26, will earn $5.85 million in 2025 after having a salary of $3.25 million for the ‘24 season. The third-overall pick in the 2019 MLB Draft posted a slash line of .246/.297/.402 over a career-high 619 plate appearances in ‘24, with 19 home runs, 30 doubles, 70 RBIs and 55 runs scored. Vaughn, who slashed .253/.308/.416 after the All-Star break last season, has 72 home runs and a .725 OPS over four seasons.

Wilson, who agreed with the White Sox at $950,000, and Anderson, who will earn $900,000, were part of the White Sox bullpen in ‘24 and are veteran relief returnees. Anderson posted a 4.39 ERA and picked up one save over 56 games, pitching for the first time in big league action since ‘19 with the Angels. Wilson had a 5.71 ERA in 40 games.

Murfee ($780,000) joined the White Sox during this offseason after he was claimed off waivers. Following the signings, the White Sox have agreed to terms with all their arbitration-eligible players for the 2025 season.
