The White Sox signed slugging corner infielder Bobby Dalbec to a Minor League contract with a non-roster invite to Spring Training on Tuesday, the team announced.

The 29-year-old Dalbec played 37 games for the Red Sox in 2024 and batted .133 with one home run and eight RBIs.

In his five seasons in the big leagues, all with Boston, Dalbec is a .222 hitter with 47 home runs and 142 RBIs in 331 games. He's played both first base and third base over his career.

Dalbec's best season came in 2021, when he hit .240 with 25 home runs and 78 RBIs over 133 games. He was a fourth-round Draft pick by the Red Sox in 2016.
