A White Sox baseball game is the perfect place to make memories with your family. Take a look at some helpful information for planning your next family outing.
Know Before You Go
Parents can note the following helpful tips when gearing up for the ballgame:
- Packing your own snacks? Food items in clear zip-lock bags (1 GAL) are permitted, along with sealed water bottles (1 L). Parents also can visit the White Sox allergen guide and view concessions areas accommodating any dietary restrictions.
- Fans can check a stroller at the Guest Relations booth, free of charge, and grab it as they exit the ballpark.
- Kids ID bracelets are available at Guest Relations. These can ensure a child’s seat location and family contact information are readily available if there’s a large crowd.
*Exceptions to this policy include medically necessary devices. Medical necessities include breast pumps, Insulin, epi-pens, oxygen, and other medical devices.
Parent-Friendly Locations
The White Sox offer several ballpark spaces to make family’s experiences more enjoyable, including:
- The Mother’s Nursing Room: Located in Section 352, this is a clean and relaxing space for mothers who are nursing. The room features comfortable chairs, electrical outlets for pumps, a television to follow the game and a Pluie self-sanitizing diaper changing table. Ask a Guest Services Representative to help access this space.
- Sensory Room: A quiet space for parents and their kids in Suite 460, the Sensory Room features elements – including textured walls and specialized lighting, as well as tools, such as weighted lap blankets and chairs – to help alleviate sensory overload. *Sensory bags are available at the Guest Relations booths behind home plate on the 100-, 300- and 500-levels.
- Parent-Friendly Restrooms: There are more than 75 changing tables throughout the ballpark, including tables in several men’s facilities. The White Sox also offer a Family Restroom in Section 108. Please ask a nearby Guest Services Representative for the key to unlock this space.
Fun for the Whole Family
Bring the family out to the ballpark and enjoy all kinds of special activities away from the game, including kid-friendly giveaways and the opportunity for young fans (13 and under) to run the bases just like their favorite Sox stars!
