Getting Started & Verifying Ticketing and Loyalty Accounts

Accessing the MLB Ballpark app

The MLB Ballpark app can be downloaded directly from the App Store on Apple devices or Google Play on Android devices. Accessing content in the MLB Ballpark app requires an MLB or a Club.com account. If you do not have an existing account, you can create a new account during initial app login.

MLB Ballpark Digital Ticketing

The MLB Ballpark app's digital ticketing features allow you to purchase new tickets, present existing tickets at the ballpark for entry, and forward tickets to friends and family, or receive tickets. These features can be found in the “Tickets” tab, "Wallet" section or on the “Home” tab for upcoming games. For additional information on how to set up and use the new MLB Ballpark app digital ticketing features, please refer to the "MLB Ballpark Digital Ticketing" section below.

For any "Wallet," account, tickets, or related support inquiries, please utilize the MLB Ballpark app Digital Assistant for step-by-step assistance.

Club Loyalty Programs

If you are a member of a participating Club's loyalty program, you can access that program by navigating to the Team tab and tapping on your team's Loyalty program module. The location of this module card may differ from Club to Club based on how that Club has configured its Team tab.

If you are signed in with your MLB/Club.com account associated with the Loyalty program, you will be taken to a digital membership card, where you can view your account information, benefits, and stored value (eCash, if applicable). If your accounts are not successfully linked, you will be provided with Club-specific contact information for assistance. For inquiries about Club Loyalty program usage, your account, reward points, or stored value (eCash), please review the specific information for the Club.

Verifying Accounts and Accessing Tickets

Why verify my email?

In order to access and manage tickets in the MLB Ballpark app, fans must verify their email, regardless of whether the tickets were purchased or received through a ticket forward. By verifying your email you confirm ownership of the MLB account and associated tickets.

How do I verify my email?

  1. Fans need to login with an MLB account the first time they open the MLB Ballpark app. If you don't have an existing MLB account, you can create one as part of the initial onboarding process.
  2. Fans who view the "Home" or "Tickets" tabs without a verified account will be prompted to "Please verify your email address or refresh your tickets".
  3. Fans can request a verification email be sent to verify their MLB account OR add an email address under "Profile" and "My MLB Account Emails" to link the email associated with their tickets. All MLB Account Emails must be verified in order to access tickets associated with that email.
  4. Upon requesting a verification email, an email will be sent to that address asking you to verify that address by tapping on a one-time link.

How can I remove a verified account?

During the verification process, if you've added an incorrect email address OR would like to remove a secondary account that you've previously linked, you can do so within the app.

  1. Go to the "Home" tab in the bottom navigation bar, and click on the avatar icon or your initials in the upper left-hand corner to go to your "Profile."
  2. Click on "My MLB Email Account Emails," where you can see any emails that are linked and their verification status.
  3. Tap on "Remove", which will unlock all verified emails with a minus button next to each.
  4. Tap on the minus icon next to the email address(es) you wish to remove.
  5. Confirm that you want to remove the account by tapping the "Remove" button at the right of the email address.

Important Note: While you can remove secondary email addresses, users cannot remove their primary email address (the one used to login to the MLB Ballpark app).

How do I access my tickets?

Scanning a Ticket at the Ballpark

To access your tickets, please refer to the Verifying Accounts and Accessing Tickets section. From the Home or Team Tab in the MLB Ballpark app, tap on the Event card, and log in to your Club or Ticketmaster account. After logging into the Ticketmaster portal and selecting your event, you can either tap "View Barcode", which will pull up your rotating barcode for scanning at the entrance gate, or tap "Add to Apple Wallet", which will allow you to use NFC (near-field communication) to tap and go for entry into the ballpark. If you have more than one ticket, this view will default to the first ticket, and you can scroll left to view additional tickets in the carousel. You will need to either scan or tap each ticket on your device at the gate or else digitally forward additional tickets to others in your party.

Ticketmaster barcodes are powered by SafeTix™, which enables encrypted mobile tickets built with leading-edge technology that comes standard with powerful fraud and counterfeit protection. SafeTix™ provides a unique barcode that automatically refreshes every few seconds so it cannot be stolen or copied, keeping your tickets safe and secure. Screenshots will not be accepted for entry.

Transferring and Receiving a Ticket

Transferring a Ticket

Once signed in to your Ticketmaster account within the Tickets tab, when you select a specific event, you will have access to all of your tickets for that event. If you have more than one ticket, this view will default to your first ticket, and you can scroll left to view additional tickets in the carousel. From here, you can click Transfer to select which ticket(s) you would like to forward to someone else via email or SMS, by either selecting from your Contacts or manually entering the recipient's contact information.

  • Manually Enter a Recipient - Enter the First Name, Last Name, Email, or Mobile Number and Note to transfer your ticket(s).

This view will also provide updates on the status of forwarded tickets, e.g., when accepted by the recipient. Depending on the ticket type, forwarded tickets can be canceled or recalled.
