Twins 2023 Tear-Off Giveaway In-Stadium Official Rules

SPONSOR: The Tear-Off Card Giveaway ("Giveaway") is sponsored by Minnesota Twins, LLC, 1 Twins Way, Minneapolis, MN, 55403 (the "Twins").
ELIGIBILITY:
1. For the Twins home baseball games held on September 22, 2023 and September 23, 2023, the first fifteen thousand two hundred (15,200) eligible fans, according to the following eligibility requirements, per game date will be given one (1) Giveaway tear-off card upon entry to Target Field during the applicable Giveaway Period: The Giveaway is open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington, D.C. who, at the time of entry to Target Field, are (i) of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction (and at least eighteen (18) years of age or older) or (ii) participating under the accompaniment of their parent or legal guardian.
2. For the Twins home baseball game held on September 24, 2023, the first five thousand two hundred (5,200) eligible fans, according to the following eligibility requirements, per game date will be given one (1) Giveaway tear-off card upon entry to Target Field during the applicable Giveaway Period: The Giveaway is open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington, D.C. who, at the time of entry to Target Field, are (i) twelve (12) years of age or younger and (ii) participating under the accompaniment of their parent or legal guardian (who must be of legal age of majority and at least eighteen (18) years of age or older).
GIVEAWAY PERIODS: The Giveaway tear-off cards will be distributed to eligible fans at the entry gates to Target Field from the time the gates open until sixty (60) minutes after the first pitch, as determined by the Twins in its sole discretion, for each of the following games (each, a "Giveaway Period"):
1. For the Twins Home Game on Friday, September 22, 2023: gates are scheduled to open at 5:00 p.m. Central Time ("CT");
2. For the Twins Home Game on Saturday, September 23, 2023: gates are scheduled to open at 11:00 a.m. CT; and
3. For the Twins Home Game on Sunday, September 24, 2023: gates are scheduled to open at 11:00 a.m. CT.
HOW TO WIN: Every Giveaway tear-off card is a winner. Tear off the designated area on the Giveaway tear-off card to reveal the prize you have won and follow the instructions printed on the tab to claim your prize. All prize disbursement will be randomly determined based on the Giveaway tear-off card code. Limit one (1) prize per eligible fan per Giveaway Period.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: All federal, state and local taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of the eligible fans who claim their prize (each, a "Winner") regardless of whether the claimed prize, in whole or in part, is used. All Winners must complete all appropriate paperwork as required by law and by the Twins, including but not limited to providing their social security number and address to claim the prize package. Prizes with a retail value of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) or greater require the Winners of such prizes to receive and complete a 1099 form, and as a condition of receiving the prize the Winner shall provide either a W-9 form or an affidavit containing his/her social security number. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative merchandise. ELIGIBLE FANS MUST CLAIM PRIZE DURING THE TIME PERIOD SPECIFIED AND AS DIRECTED ON THE GIVEAWAY TEAR-OFF CARD. GIVEAWAY TEAR-OFF CARDS WILL NOT BE REPLACED IF LOST OR STOLEN AND MUST BE PRESENTED IN ORDER TO CLAIM THE PRIZE.
PRIZES: Prizes for the Giveaway include the following (prizes are subject to change):
A. For the Twins Home Game on Friday, September 22, 2023:
i. One (1) Home Plate View ticket for Winner for one (1) Twins April or May home game during the 2024 regular season (up to 7,500 cards). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize: $37.00.
ii. One (1) offer coupon from Caribou Coffee or other corporate partner of the Twins as determined by the Twins at its sole discretion. Offers valid only at identified corporate partner locations and subject to additional restrictions on the coupon (up to 7,500 cards). ARV of each prize: $2.00.
iii. One (1) autographed item signed by one (1) Twins player, item and player to be determined by the Twins at its sole discretion (up to one hundred 100 cards). ARV of each prize: $75.00 - $200.00.
iv. One (1) Twins merchandise prize pack containing items determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (up to one hundred 100 cards). ARV of each prize: $50.00 - $75.00.
v. Total ARV of all prizes for September 22, 2023: $305,000.00 - $320,000.00.
B. For the Twins Home Game on Saturday, September 23, 2023:
i. One (1) Home Plate View ticket for Winner for one (1) Twins April or May home game during the 2024 regular season (up to 7,500 cards). ARV of each prize: $37.00.
ii. One (1) offer coupon from Caribou Coffee or other corporate partner of the Twins as determined by the Twins at its sole discretion. Offers valid only at identified corporate partner locations and subject to additional restrictions on the coupon (up to 7,500 cards). ARV of each prize: $2.00.
iii. One (1) autographed item signed by one (1) Twins player, item and player to be determined by the Twins at its sole discretion (up to one hundred 100 cards). ARV of each prize: $75.00 - $200.00.
iv. One (1) Twins merchandise prize pack containing items determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (up to one hundred 100 cards). ARV of each prize: $50.00 - $75.00.
v. Total ARV of all prizes for September 23, 2023: $305,000.00 - 320,000.00.
C. For the Twins Home Game on Sunday, September 24, 2023:
i. One (1) Home Plate View ticket for Winner for one (1) Twins April or May home game during the 2024 regular season (up to 5,000 cards). ARV of each prize: $37.00.
ii. One (1) autographed item signed by one (1) Twins player, item and player to be determined by the Twins at its sole discretion (up to one hundred 100 cards). ARV of each prize: $75.00 - $200.00.
iii. One (1) Twins merchandise prize pack containing items determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (up to one hundred 100 cards). ARV of each prize: $50.00 - $75.00.
iv. Total ARV of all prizes for September 24, 2023: $197,500.00 - $212,500.00.
Total ARV of all prizes:$807,500.00 - $852,500.00.
Additional Prize Conditions: Game tickets awarded as Giveaway prizes have no cash value, are not exchangeable or refundable and cannot be replaced under any circumstances. Game dates are subject to availability and some blackout dates may apply. Transportation to/from the game, event or exhibition and lodging not included in any prize. The exact nature and duration of any experience or opportunity included as part of a prize shall be determined by, and subject to the rules and regulations of, the Twins at its sole discretion and subject to availability. Seat/suite locations at the game shall be determined in the sole discretion of the Twins. Use of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition ticket is subject to the standard terms, conditions, and health and safety policies applicable to the ticket; see mlb.com/ticketback for details. Seat locations at the game/event/exhibition and, unless otherwise stated in the prize description, exact game/event/exhibition date shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Winner’s guest(s) must be of legal age of majority in his/her(their) jurisdiction(s) of residence unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the BOC and/or the applicable Club and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as part of the prize will govern in the event a legal game/event/exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played or held due to weather conditions, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, or any other reason. Winner and his/her guest(s) agree to comply with all applicable ballpark and venue regulations in connection with the prize; see twins.com/ballpark for details. Sponsor and the other MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to the winner and/or his/her guest(s) who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the game/event/exhibition. Released Parties (as defined below) will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition tickets awarded as prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture and may invalidate the license granted by the game/event/exhibition ticket. Participation in the prize event is subject to Winner’s (and guest’s) consent to and compliance with all health and safety policies of the MLB Entities, including but not limited to the wearing of masks if and when directed and the requirement to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (i.e., having received a final vaccination dose at least 14 days prior to the event).
This Giveaway is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. By participating in this Giveaway, each eligible fan agrees (a) to accept and abide by these rules and regulations, (b) that any dispute with regard to the conduct of this Giveaway, rule interpretation or award of prize shall be submitted to the management of the Twins, who will make a final, binding determination, and (c) to waive any and all claims against the Twins, the other MLB Entities (defined below), each corporate partner of the Twins providing prizes for the Giveaway, and the licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the foregoing entities (collectively, "Released Parties") for any injury, damage or loss of any kind that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the Giveaway or from receipt or use of any Giveaway prize or any travel or activity related to the Giveaway or Giveaway prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s)). “MLB Entities” means the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball ("BOC"), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. ("MLB"), Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs ("Clubs"), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC, and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees and agents of the foregoing entities. Each Winner, by acceptance of prize, grants to MLB and the applicable Club and each of its respective designees the right to publicize his/her name, address (city and state/territory of residence), photograph, voice, statements and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, promotional and/or trade and/or any other purpose ("Winner Information") in any media or format now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without limitation and without further compensation, consideration, permission or notification, unless prohibited by law. The releases hereunder are intended to apply to all claims not known or suspected to exist with the intent of waiving the effect of laws requiring the intent to release future unknown claims.
