Vice President, Finance
Andy Weinstein, who begins his 23rd season with the Twins in 2024, was named Vice President, Finance in January of 2020. Weinstein joined the Twins in 2001 as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, before serving as Director, Finance from 2007-2009, followed by Senior Director, Finance from 2009-2019. Prior to joining the Twins, Weinstein was employed by the public accounting firm Arthur Andersen where he worked in the audit practice from 1998-2001 and obtained his Certified Public Accounting license.
Weinstein oversees the daily accounting and finance functions of the club, including financial reporting, budgeting and cash management. He played a key role in developing the financial model used for the financing of Target Field and maintains the club’s relationship with financing partners.
Weinstein served on the Board of Directors for Reach for Resources, Inc., a local nonprofit that provides therapeutic services and training to individuals with cognitive disabilities, from 2005-2018 and served as the Board Treasurer for 10 years.
A 1997 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he and his wife, Jodie, reside in Minnetonka, MN with their twin sons, Ben and Jimmy.
