Nov. 11: Acquired INF from the A's in exchange for a Minor League pitcher
Allen has produced a meager .537 OPS over the past three seasons with the A's, but his defensive value makes him a potential backup infielder for Atlanta. The 26-year-old infielder was acquired in exchange for a 23-year-old right-handed pitcher who posted a 2.60 ERA over 38 appearances for High-A Rome this year.

The Braves have 38 players on their 40-man roster with Allen's addition. All teams must set their 40-man rosters by Nov. 19 to protect eligible players from this year's Rule 5 Draft. LHP is the only member of Atlanta's Top 30 prospects list who would even draw consideration to be added.

Nov. 4: Exercised 2025 player option on DH ; declined options on C and RHP
Along with announcing Ozuna’s $16 million option had been picked up, the Braves made the unexpected revelation that they had declined d'Arnaud’s $8 million option. Jackson’s $7 million option was also declined. The Braves haven’t closed the door on re-signing d’Arnaud at some point this winter. But they weren’t currently in position to commit to paying him $8 million for next season. More >

Nov. 1: RHP claimed off waivers from A's
Salinas returns to the Braves a little less than two years after being traded to the A's in the deal that brought Sean Murphy to Atlanta. The 23-year-old pitcher posted a 3.68 ERA over eight starts for the A's Double-A affiliate this year, but struggled during the two starts he made at the Triple-A level before undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery in June.
