On Wednesday, June 19, a Juneteenth Celebration at Wrigley Field will emphasize the support of Black entrepreneurship, culture and community in recognition of the national holiday. The celebration, created in collaboration with Christi Harber of With an Eye PR, will include the return of the Black Entrepreneurs Experience where Black business owners will once again showcase their incredible products at a market at Gallagher Way for Cubs fans to enjoy and experience firsthand. The market will open at 11 a.m. CT and will conclude an hour following the game.

Pregame festivities will include, the Black national anthem sung by mother-daughter duo Tracy R. Kincaide and Jameisha Trice, and ceremonial first pitches thrown out by Chicago native and actor Jason Weaver as well as outgoing Cubs Senior Vice President of Communications Julian Green who was one of the creators of Juneteenth: A Black Entrepreneurs Experience. Weaver also will sing the seventh-inning stretch. Additionally, businesses participating in the market will be honored on the field pregame.
