The Frozen Confines: Big Ten Hockey Series

The Chicago Cubs and the Big Ten Conference will partner for The Frozen Confines: Big Ten Hockey Series to host a pair of college hockey doubleheaders at Wrigley Field January 3-4, 2025. The Frozen Confines will feature three Big Ten men’s hockey games, plus a Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) women’s game.

Tickets are on sale now. A separate ticket is required for each day of the series. There is a limit of 14 tickets per day. Matchups for each day are listed below with game times.

Friday, January 3, 2025
  • 4 p.m. CT Ohio State vs. Michigan, BTN
  • 7:30 p.m. CT Penn State vs. Notre Dame, BTN
Saturday, January 4, 2025
  • 4:30 p.m. CT Ohio State vs. Wisconsin (WCHA), BTN
  • 8 p.m. CT Wisconsin vs. Michigan State, BTN
