The Chicago Cubs and the Big Ten Conference will partner for The Frozen Confines: Big Ten Hockey Series to host a pair of college hockey doubleheaders at Wrigley Field January 3-4, 2025. The Frozen Confines will feature three Big Ten men’s hockey games, plus a Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) women’s game.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. CT Friday, August 30. A separate ticket is required for each day of the series. There is a limit of 14 tickets per day. While the order of games is pending, start times are slated for 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. CT Friday, January 3, and 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. CT Saturday, January 4. Matchups for each day are listed below.
