FRIDAY
AFL Play-in Semifinals
8:30 p.m. ET -- No. 3 seed Salt River @ No. 2 seed Scottsdale
The Arizona Fall League slate is down to three teams and two games. Before a champion can be crowned, the Rafters and Scorpions will square off in what promises to be an exciting semifinals matchup featuring a number of top prospects. Salt River boasts some potent bats, including Robert Hassell III (WSH No. 13) and the AFL's all-time stolen base king Caleb Durbin (NYY). Scottsdale counters with Josue Briceño (DET No. 9), who claimed the first Triple Crown in league history.
SATURDAY
AFL Championship
8 p.m. ET – TBD (Semifinal winner) @ No. 1 seed Surprise
The two teams left standing will battle for the Arizona Fall League's 2024 title at Scottsdale Stadium in a championship game that will be broadcast live on MLB Network and MLB.com. Featuring 2024 first-rounder Jac Caglianone (KC No. 1/MLB No. 17), Surprise wrapped up an 18-10 Fall League campaign and awaits the winner of Friday's semifinal matchup between Salt River and Scottsdale. Don't miss a single pitch of the action.
SUNDAY
3 p.m. ET – Leones vs. Águilas
Leones del Escogido is a talented club, sporting skilled hitters like Warming Bernabel (COL No. 24) and Carlos Jimenez (SEA No. 28) in its exciting lineup. The 21-year-old Jimenez paired 37 extra-base hits and 22 stolen bases this past summer between Class A and Rookie-level ball. There is another organizational Top 30 prospect on the Águilas in infielder Eddys Leonard (DET No. 29), who socked 19 home runs this past summer between Double- and Triple-A.
MONDAY
6:30 p.m. ET – Leones vs. Tigres
There isn’t a winter ball team with more ranked prospects than Tigres del Licey, who have super-talented shortstop Jordan Lawlar (AZ No. 1/MLB No. 9), second baseman Orelvis Martinez (TOR No. 2) and right-hander Michael Arias (CHC No. 19). Blue Jays fans, in particular, should be excited to watch Martinez, who missed most of last summer serving a suspension for performance-enhancing drugs.
6:30 p.m. ET – Gigantes vs. Águilas
This past summer, there weren’t many more productive hitters in the Minor Leagues than Deyvison De Los Santos (MIA No. 4), who led Minor League hitters in home runs and RBIs. Now, the slugger from the Marlins' organization is anchoring the lineup in winter ball for Gigantes del Cibao, which also has talented outfielder Raylin Herredia (PHI No. 30) on its roster.
