Most Valuable Player

Since 1931, the Baseball Writers' Association of America has voted for the Most Valuable Player in each league. Ballots are submitted prior to the beginning of the postseason and are based on a weighted points system.

Aaron Judge (Yankees), Juan Soto (Yankees) and Bobby Witt Jr. (Royals) are the finalists for the AL MVP Award, while Francisco Lindor (Mets), Ketel Marte (D-backs) and Shohei Ohtani (Dodgers) are the finalists in the NL. The winners of the 2024 MVP Awards will be announced Nov. 21.
