MVP Awards
American League
Shohei Ohtani was awe-inspiring for the Angels in becoming the first player win the AL MVP Award by a unanimous vote twice. He led MLB in slugging (.654), OPS (1.066) and wRC+ (180). His 44 HRs in only 135 games were the most in the AL. On the mound, Ohtani recorded a .184 opponents’ batting average, a 3.14 ERA and 167 strikeouts in 132 innings.
National League
Ronald Acuña Jr. racked up a stat line for the ages, establishing the 40-70 club with 41 HRs and 73 SBs on his way to a unanimous NL MVP selection. He paced the NL in runs (149), hits (217), OBP (.416), OPS (1.012), total bases (383) and wRC+ (170). His remarkable 2023 including three NL Player of the Month honors.
Cy Young Awards
American League
A two-time Cy Young Award runner-up, Yankees ace Gerrit Cole earned the hardware in 2023 after leading the AL in ERA (2.63), innings (209) and opponents’ batting average (.206). Cole allowed four earned runs over his final five starts, spanning 35 innings and capped his year with a two-hit shutout.
National League
Batters mustered a paltry .181/.293/.286 slash line against the Padres' Blake Snell, who won the Cy Young for the second time in his career. His 12 scoreless starts tied for the most by a qualified starting pitcher since 1969. Snell racked up 234 K’s, and his 31.5% strikeout rate ranked second in the Majors.
Rookie of the Year Awards
American League
Gunnar Henderson was a dynamic defender at two infield positions while providing extra-base impact at the plate in earning the AL Rookie of the Year Award. He led both the Orioles and all AL rookies in bWAR (6.2) and fWAR (4.6) while hitting 28 HRs, nine triples, 82 RBIs and scoring 100 runs.
National League
Corbin Carroll's 25 homers and 54 steals made him the first 25-50 rookie in MLB history en route to leading the D-backs to the World Series and becoming Arizona’s first NL Rookie of the Year Award winner in a unanimous vote.
Manager of the Year Awards
American League
Two years after his Orioles endured 110 losses, Brandon Hyde piloted the young O's of 2023 to 101 wins and an AL East title to become the franchise's fourth Manager of the Year winner.
National League
In his first year as a big league manager, Skip Schumaker led the Marlins to the fourth postseason appearance in franchise history, thanks in part to a 33-14 record in one-run games. Schumaker became the fourth Marlins skipper to be named Manager of the Year.

Clemente Award
Yankees superstar Aaron Judge, whose ALL RISE Foundation inspires kids to reach their goals and dreams, was named the 2023 Roberto Clemente Award winner. The honor is bestowed annually to the player who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field.
Aaron Awards
Shohei Ohtani (AL) and Ronald Acuña Jr. (NL) added hardware to their respective trophy cases when they were named the 2023 Hank Aaron Award winners. The Hank Aaron Award, which was established in 1999, annually recognizes the best offensive performer in the American and National League.
Outstanding DH
Shohei Ohtani earned the Outstanding Designated Hitter Award for a third straight season on the heels of a monumental campaign at the plate, slashing .304/.412/.654 with 44 HRs, 20 SBs, 102 runs and 95 RBIs in just 135 games.
Comeback Players
Five months after a Stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis, Liam Hendriks was back on the mound, a remarkable story of perseverance that earned the White Sox reliever the AL Comeback Player of the Year Award. The NL winner, Cody Bellinger, regained his MVP-caliber form after back-to-back subpar seasons that saw him non-tendered before the Cubs signed him for 2023.
Relievers of the Year
Félix Bautista (1.48 ERA, 33 saves, MLB-best 110 strikeouts for relievers) completely dominated for the O's en route to his AL Reliever of the Year Award, despite missing the last five weeks of the season, while Brewers counterpart Devin Williams (1.53 ERA, 36 saves) won the NL honor for the second time in four years.
Executive of the Year
On the strength of a 101-win season and the rising Orioles' first postseason appearance since 2016, GM Mike Elias was named MLB's 2023 Executive of the Year. Elias is the first O’s executive to receive the honor, which was first awarded at the conclusion of the 2018 season.
Postseason awards
Dynamic Rangers slugger Adolis García made history with 15 RBIs in the ALCS, the most in a single postseason series, with five homers -- including two in the decisive Game 7 -- and hit .357 (10-for-28) en route to series MVP honors.
In the midst of a historic postseason hitting streak, the D-backs' Ketel Marte won the NLCS MVP Award after hitting .387 (12-for-31) overall in the series, and .421 as the catalyst in Arizona's four victories.
Corey Seager joined elite company as only the fourth player to be named World Series MVP twice after he hit .286 (6-for-21) with three home runs, six RBIs and six runs in five games in leading the Rangers to their first World Series title.
Players Choice Awards
The players have spoken and they rewarded Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr. with Player of the Year honors, in addition to being named Outstanding National League Player.
Heart & Hustle Award
Awarded to a player who demonstrates "a passion for the game of baseball and best embodies the values, spirit and traditions of the game,” Rangers slugger Marcus Semien was named the winner of the Heart & Hustle Award, as voted on by retired and active MLB players.

All-Star Game MVP
Amid a career year, veteran backstop Elias Díaz propelled the National League to its first Midsummer Classic victory since 2012, launching a go-ahead, pinch-hit two-run homer in the eighth inning en route to becoming the first All-Star Game MVP Award winner in Rockies history.
