Media credential applications for the 2024 Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium can be submitted beginning today at www.SportsSystems.com/PinstripeBowl.
The online application is the only acceptable method for requesting credentials.
The 2024 Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl will feature the University of Nebraska and Boston College on Saturday, Dec. 28, at Yankee Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 12 p.m. (ET) on ABC. It will mark the first matchup between both programs.
Nebraska will make its 54th all-time bowl appearance (26-27) and first under second-year head coach Matt Rhule. This will mark the Cornhuskers’ first appearance in the Pinstripe Bowl and just their second game in the Bronx, having defeated the University of Miami, 36-34, at the original Yankee Stadium in the 1962 Gotham Bowl.
Boston College has been selected to its 31st bowl game and will make its 29th all-time bowl appearance (15-13, along with one no-contest due to weather in 2018 and one cancelation due to COVID in 2021). It will mark their first bowl appearance under head coach Bill O’Brien. For the Eagles, it marks their third Pinstripe Bowl appearance (also 2014 vs. Penn State and 2017 vs. Iowa), becoming the first ACC team and the third program to play in the Pinstripe Bowl three times, joining Rutgers University and Syracuse University.
Please note that BBWAA cards, previously-issued Yankees credentials and MLB-issued credentials WILL NOT be honored for the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl. Media access for the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium will be provided only with newly-issued credentials obtained through the process described in this advisory.
All applications must be completed by a Sports Assignment Editor and submitted no later than Friday, Dec. 20 at 5:00 p.m. ET. Please note that media members may not apply on their own behalf.
