Tigers: Riley Greene, OF (MLB No. 7), Triple-A Toledo
Greene had an all-around solid day at the plate, clubbing his 24th homer and 25th double of the year while driving in two, scoring twice and walking once. The Tigers’ No. 2 prospect has thrived in 39 games with Toledo, boasting a .314 average and a .964 OPS with eight dingers and 30 RBIs. Royals: Nick Pratto, 1B (MLB No. 65), Triple-A Omaha
Pratto has been a force to be reckoned with all season long and continued his fantastic season with his 35th homer in a 2-for-2 day, adding two walks, two RBIs, three runs scored and a stolen base. Pratto has split his time evenly between Double-A and Triple-A, playing 61 games at each level. Blue Jays: Bowden Francis, RHP (No. 28), Triple-A Buffalo
Francis worked around a season-high five walks to toss five one-hit innings in his first scoreless start since Sept. 7. Acquired from the Brewers in the Rowdy Tellez trade, the 2017 Draft pick earned his 10th win of the year as he fanned six batters to bring his season strikeout total to 110 in 111 2/3 innings. Brewers: Jackson Chourio, SS (No. 18), DSL Brewers 2
Chourio continued to impress in the Dominican Summer League with a strong performance on Friday. The 17-year-old went 4-for-5, his first career four-hit game, with a home run and a career-best 4 RBIs. Chourio was ranked 18th in Pipeline’s 2020 Top 30 International Prospects list and signed with Milwaukee for $1.8 million in January. He has flashed his potential as a plus hitter at a premium position by slashing .297/.389/.452 with an .841 OPS, five home runs, seven doubles, 24 RBIs and 30 runs scored in 44 games. Red Sox: Josh Winckowski, RHP (No. 19), Triple-A Worcester
Winckowski tossed six one-run innings in a successful second Triple-A start, with the lone blemish being a solo shot off the bat of Logan O'Hoppe in the third inning. It’s his third straight start of six frames and his 10th start this season of at least six innings. The 23-year-old tossed 47 of his 84 pitches for strikes as he worked around two hits and three walks to limit the damage to just one run. Yankees: Oswaldo Cabrera, INF (No. 16), Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre
Cabrera singled, homered and doubled in his first three at-bats, but the 22-year-old ultimately fell a triple shy of the cycle in the RailRiders’ 10-3 win. The switch-hitter drove in two runs and scored two in just his eighth Triple-A game of the year. Cabrera has had no trouble adjusting to the new level, putting up a blistering .519/.606/1.111 slash line with a triple, two doubles, four homers, five walks and seven RBIs. Yankees prospect stats »
