
The Royals offer a variety of game day experiences, with available dates listed below. Guests must have a game ticket and an experience ticket to participate. For more information about the Early Bird Batting Practice, please contact guestservice@royals.com. Early Bird Batting Practice
Get an exclusive view of batting practice from behind the dugout! Early Bird Batting Practice begins at Gate A (Left Field) one hour before regular gate opening times.
Available for select games with evening start times (6:10 p.m., 6:40 p.m. & 7:10 p.m.), and Saturdays with afternoon start times (3:10 p.m.), weather permitting. Early Bird guests may watch batting practice from sections 101-125 and 206-225.
All Fans (4 years & up): $15.00

You may purchase Early Bird tickets in advance at royals.com or on the day of the game at the Gate A (Left Field) Ticket Booth beginning ninety minutes before the General Gates Open (unless the Early Bird Experience is sold out). All Early Bird ticket holders must also have a ticket for that day’s game.
Batting Practice for either team is subject to cancellation. Refunds will be given if both teams do not take batting practice, however if either team hits there will be NO REFUNDS.
Pregame Tours

Pregame Tours offer the opportunity to see Kauffman Stadium in working action prior to a game. Visit the Diamond Club, View Level, Writing Press, Craft and Draft, Hall of Fame, Outfield Experience and then watch batting practice from the seating bowl (visitor’s side). All stops are subject to availability. Game times subject to change.
- Fans must have a game ticket and will stay in the ballpark after the tour and prior to game time (unless a second game ticket is presented for entry.)
- All pregame tour guests must stay with the tour group until the gates are open for general entry.
- Fans parking a vehicle at the Truman Sports Complex must have a parking pass for the pregame tour. One parking pass covers the pregame tour and the game.
- There are no refunds for Pregame Tours if neither club takes batting practice.
- Pregame tours follow the game ticket policy for children (fans 32 inches in height and under do not require a ticket).
- Promotional items: On select game days with “giveaway” items, fans on the pregame tour will receive the promotional item upon entering the stadium. Please see the promotional calendar for a full list of giveaways.
Pregame Tours start at 3:45 for a 7:10 game, 3:15 for a 6:40 game, 2:45 for a 6:10 game and 11:45 for a 3:10 game. A limited number of Pregame Tour tickets are available.
Watch Batting Practice from Field Level

Watch the Royals and their opponent take batting practice from the warning track. Batting practice for either team is subject to cancellation. Refunds will be given if both teams do not take batting practice, however, if either team takes batting practice, there will be NO REFUNDS. Game ticket required for entry. One experience ticket per guest. Children 32 inches and under do not require a ticket for this experience. All Royals Experiences are wheelchair accessible.
Game Ball Delivery

Take the first ball to the pitcher’s mound before the game! This experience includes video board recognition on CrownVision.
- Participants for Game Ball Delivery must adhere to club policies for the pregame ceremony, including: Participants MUST be at least 12 years old. No guests or family members will be allowed, including children. Pre-game participants 15 and under may be accompanied by one parent who will be allowed to the camera bay, but not onto the field. Participants must be dressed appropriately for the professional sports environment (no athletic shorts, opposing team paraphernalia, no flip flops or heels; flat shoes or sandals are strongly recommended. If you arrive dressed inappropriately, you will not be allowed to participate.) Additional information will be communicated prior to gameday.
- Available Game Ball Deliveries are listed below. Post All-Star Break Game Ball Deliveries (from July 25 to end of season) will be posted at a later date.
Base Installation

Help the grounds crew by installing first base for the game! Participants have the option of buying the base at an additional cost. Base availability subject to change, while supplies last.
- Participants for Base Installation MUST be at least 12 years old. No guests or family members will be allowed, including children. Pre-game participants 15 and under may be accompanied by one parent who will be allowed to the camera bay, but not onto the field. Participants must be dressed appropriately for the professional sports environment (no athletic shorts, opposing team paraphernalia, no flip flops or heels; flat shoes or sandals are strongly recommended. If you arrive dressed inappropriately, you will not be allowed to participate.) Additional information will be communicated prior to gameday.
Broadcast Booth Visit

Watch your favorite announcers call the action as you visit the Royals radio booth for an inning! This experience is sold both individually and for groups of up to four participants.
All-Access Tour

The All-Access Tour takes you behind the scenes before a game. Watch batting practice from the warning track, visit the press box, broadcast booths, CrownVision control room, Community America Crown Club, a suite, the media interview room and experience the national anthem from field level. The All-Access tour includes a bat with Royals logo and a $50 gift card for in-stadium use. Participants must have game tickets (not included). The All-Access Tour is not available for games starting at 1:10.

Watch Fireworks from the Field

Experience Summer Fireworks from a new perspective! Join your friends and family in the outfield grass for a fireworks spectacular at The K! Experience is weather permitting; refunds issued upon cancellation. All Royals Experiences are wheelchair accessible. The on-field experience is available for Friday games from April 25 to the end of the season, with the exception of September 5.
