The Texas Rangers are looking for local college students to join their College Brand Ambassador Program for the 2024 season! They are looking for students who are eager to represent the Rangers brand and learn the ins and outs of working in sports. Selected Brand Ambassadors will serve as influencers for Rangers-driven campaigns, take part in monthly Professional Development Workshops with front office members, have access to exclusive Rangers opportunities, take polls to assist with marketing strategies and more!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Utilize personal social media channels as an influencer for Rangers-driven campaigns
- Promote ticket sales and exclusive offers on social media channels
- Attend monthly Professional Development Workshops with front office members
- Participate in virtual focus groups & take surveys to help with marketing strategies
- Attend a mandatory resume workshop & mock interview with Rangers Human Resources team

Note: This program will be a minimal time commitment and will allow its participants to have other internships & be involved on campus. The estimated time allotted is 40 hours over a 6-month period.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be available from March – October 2024
- A Sophomore, Junior or Senior level standing pursuing a degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, Communication or a similar field
- Must be able to get to and from Globe Life Field for games, events and in-person meetings
- Active on personal social media platforms
- Knowledge of baseball, the sports industry and marketing a team/brand is a plus
- Willing to share innovative ideas and opinions
- Eager to learn more about working in the sports industry
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external personnel in a professional manner
- Prioritizes attention to detail and deadlines
