What are the event dates?

The event will run Wednesday-Sunday, November 8-12, 2023.

Where are tickets sold?

Tickets are sold online only at sfgiants.com/golf. We expect this event to sell out so we encourage you to purchase tickets well in advance.

How much are tickets?

Player Tickets start at $99 each + fees. Tour Pro Tickets start at $160 each + fees. Please note that tickets are priced dynamically and vary based on the tee time (price reflected at time of purchase). Clubhouse Passes are $25 each + fees (this price is fixed).

How are tickets sold?

Tickets are sold in 2s and 4s. If you buy only 2 tickets you will be paired with another twosome. If you wish to play privately, please purchase 4 tickets within the tee time. If you have a group larger than 4 you can book multiple foursomes with nearby tee times. Each hole will have two tee boxes, so two foursomes will be playing near each other at all times.

When are tee times?

Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wed-Fri and 7 a.m. on Sat-Sun, running every seven minutes. The last tee time on Wed-Sat is tentatively set for 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday 8:00 p.m. To secure your preferred tee time, we recommend purchasing your tickets early.

How do I select a tee time?

Select the date you’re looking to play to see available tee times. Select the tee time you want and check out with 2 or 4 tickets.

How do I access my tickets?

Event tickets are mobile only via the MLB Ballpark app. We encourage players to access or forward their tickets prior to arrival. Learn more about mobile ticketing, including step-by-step instructions on how to access your tickets.

Can I switch my tee time?

No, tee times cannot be rescheduled after purchase.

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final. If you cannot attend the event, you are welcome to forward your tickets to others.

How long does it take to play the Ballpark Back 9?

A round of play is estimated to take between 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours. We encourage all golfers to arrive at least 30 minutes before their tee time to allow time for check-in.

Do I need to bring my own golf clubs and balls?

Golf clubs and balls are provided for all players. A set of adult right and left-handed irons and wedges will be available at each tee box. See the Rules tab for club sizes and equipment details.

Can I bring my own golf clubs and balls?

Players are permitted to bring their own clubs if they will be a better fit for the course in terms of club sizes and comfortability, but players are restricted to five (5) clubs and they must be irons or wedges (no woods allowed). Players who bring their own clubs will need to carry them throughout the round (golf bags are not permitted). Personal golf balls are not permitted.

Are youth clubs available?

Youth clubs are available upon request in The Clubhouse before play begins. Options and sizes are limited so we recommend youth players bringing their own clubs. Youth players are allowed to use broader club sizes, but are still limited to five (5) clubs total.

Are left-handed clubs available?

One left-handed set of clubs will be available at each hole. Please instruct your caddie day of if you are left-handed.

Is the course ADA accessible?

Due to the elevated and custom nature of the tee boxes, gameplay is not ADA accessible. The Clubhouse and all associated Clubhouse Pass amenities are accessible.

Is there a liability waiver?

Yes, all guests, including Clubhouse Passholders, will be required to sign a liability waiver upon check-in.

Can I intentionally hit a ball towards other locations inside or outside of the ballpark?

No. Players attempting to hit golf balls outside of the field of play are subject to immediate ejection without refund. All shots will be actively monitored by the caddie to enforce this rule.

Where do I enter and check in?

All players will enter at The Gotham Club, which is located behind right field along the Portwalk adjacent to McCovey Cove. Please refer to the tentative course map for an entrance visual aid.

How early should I get to Oracle Park?

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to your tee time to allow ample time to check in, collect your scorecard and receive gameplay instructions. However, players are welcome to arrive earlier to enjoy The Clubhouse experience.

Can I stay longer than my tee time?

You are welcome to stay inside The Clubhouse after your round to eat, drink and socialize. If tee times are still available, you may purchase additional gameplay tickets. Please note there is no re-entry once you leave The Clubhouse.

What are The Clubhouse hours?

The Clubhouse at The Gotham Club will open at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday-Friday and 6:30 a.m. on Saturday-Sunday. The Clubhouse will tentatively close at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday-Saturday and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. The Gotham Club will serve as The Clubhouse for the entirety of this event.

Am I able to enter The Clubhouse if I’m not golfing?

An event ticket is required to enter the venue; however, Clubhouse Passes are available to those who won’t be playing, but would like to enjoy The Clubhouse festivities. Clubhouse Passes are $25 each. Up to two (2) passholders can walk the course with a golfing foursome.

What is the re-entry policy?

There is no re-entry. If you leave The Clubhouse you will need to purchase additional tickets to re-enter.

What are my transportation options?

Where can I park at the ballpark?

Paid parking will be available in various lots around the ballpark. Check back soon for pricing and how to reserve your spot in advance.

Will food and beverage be available for purchase?

Yes! The Gotham Club will have a variety of specialty food and beverage items available for purchase throughout the event, including a full bar. Certain items can be taken on the course and available for reloading along the way.

​​Can I bring my own food and beverage?

Outside food and beverage is permitted. No alcohol, glass, aluminum or hard-sided coolers. Beverages must be in sealed containers.

What should I wear?

We encourage players to dress comfortably, especially footwear since you will be walking the course. Golf cleats are not permitted. As San Francisco weather can be unpredictable we recommend checking the forecast and bringing sufficient outerwear.

What happens if it rains?

The event will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we will have ponchos available to all players. The Clubhouse is entirely weather protected.

What is the bag policy?

To allow for an expedited entry experience, golf bags and backpacks (including clear backpacks) are NOT permitted. Accommodations are made for diaper bags, medical bags and guests with accessible needs. Otherwise this policy is strictly enforced and exceptions will not be made. Other bags, that do not exceed 16" x 16" x 8" in size, are permitted: paper and plastic grocery bags, purses, fanny packs, lunch bags, briefcases, diaper bags, soft-sided coolers, and handbags. Bags do not need to be clear. Hard-sided coolers are not permitted. All bags are subject to inspection.
