Steve Mullins enters his third year with the D-backs as Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships, Media & Events. The 18-year industry veteran returned for his second stint with the team in 2021, having worked for the team for seven years from 2007-13, culminating with two seasons as Vice President, Corporate Partnerships in 2012-13. The Phoenix native is a graduate of Paradise Valley High School.
Mullins is responsible for the vision, leadership and execution of multiple functional areas including Corporate Partnership Sales and Services, Legends Entertainment District, Arizona Diamondbacks Events & Entertainment (ADEE), Large Non-Baseball Event Business Development, and Media distribution platforms. This role will have oversight of all identification, negotiation, and activation of sponsor partnerships with new or existing business partners; lead a progressive sponsorship sales strategy and approach to market across all the aforementioned assets; and guide the vision for an evolving broadcast landscape on television, radio, digital, internet, etc. in English and Spanish.
Mullins most recently served as the Miami Dolphins’ Vice President, Corporate Partnerships from 2019-21. Prior to that, he had stints as the Fiesta Bowl’s Chief Sales & Marketing Officer in 2018-19, iHeartMedia Regional Senior Vice President of Sales from 2016-18 and the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx’s Vice President of Corporate Partnerships from 2013-16. Prior to joining the D-backs in 2007, Mullins was with Sun Devil Sports Marketing, the multi-media rights holder of Arizona State University Athletics, from 2004-06.
Steve and his wife Ashley have three kids and live in Phoenix.
