D-backs Hall of Fame

Randy Johnson and Luis Gonzalez

Keeping them forever connected with our fans.

The Arizona Diamondbacks Hall of Fame, announced in 2023 during the franchise’s on-field 25th Anniversary ceremony, was created to honor former players for their significant achievements, talents and contributions to our team, our franchise and the community. Two of the franchises’ most prominent and iconic players, World Series champions Luis Gonzalez and Randy Johnson, are the 2024 inaugural inductees.

The most decorated players in franchise history, Randy Johnson and Luis Gonzalez both joined the team in its second year in 1999 and helped lead the organization to its first Commissioner’s Trophy in 2001, making the D-backs the fastest expansion team in Major League history the win the World Series. The duo was instrumental in building the organization’s foundation both on and off the field, guiding the team’s successes, garnering their own individual honors and records while setting the tone for giving back to the community and the fans. Their legacies live on through their continued contributions as valued members of the front office.
