Mike Rock - Vice President, Ballpark Operations
Mike Rock is the Vice President of Ballpark Operations at Chase Field. He specializes in Sports and Entertainment Facility Operations, Event Management, Event Staffing, and Event Coordination while leading a full-time in-house staff in Engineering, Groundskeeping, Building Services, Guest Services, and Event and Venue Security.
Prior to joining the Arizona Diamondbacks organization in 2022, Mike was a Sr. Director of Project Management with CAA ICON, working as an Owner’s Representative on new stadium design and construction projects. He also worked with Kroenke Sports and Entertainment as the Vice President of Venue Operations and the General Manager of Pepsi Center in Denver, Colo., home of the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche and NBA’s Denver Nuggets, as well as the General Manager of Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., home of the MLS’s Colorado Rapids.
Mike’s baseball roots run deep as his work history includes positions as the Vice President of Stadium Operations at Raley Field in Sacramento, Calif., for MiLB’s AAA Sacramento Rivercats, and Director of Game Day and Event Services at Coors Field in Denver, Colo., for MLB’s Colorado Rockies Baseball Club. Mike’s first job, at age 13, was as an Umpire for Little League Baseball in his hometown Davis, Calif.
Mike and his wife, Kati, have two sons, Sam (30) in Atlanta, and Henry (23) in Denver.
