D-backs sign catcher Recker to Minors deal

The D-backs have signed catcher Anthony Recker to a Minor League deal with an invitation to Major League Spring Training, the club announced Monday.
Recker, 34, appeared in six Major League games for the Braves in 2017, recording one hit in seven at-bats. A seven-year big league veteran, Recker is a career .199/.283/.348 hitter with 18 home runs and 70 RBIs in 206 games.
This will be Recker's first stint with Arizona after he appeared in parts of three seasons for the Mets, two for the Braves, two for the A's and one for the Cubs.
