The Chicago Cubs reserve the right to change or modify these rules at our discretion. Nothing in this document should be construed as a contract between the Chicago Cubs and any other party.
ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES
The Chicago Cubs (the "Cubs" or the "Club") wants all fans to have an enjoyable experience while attending a game at Sloan Park. The Club is committed to making Major League Baseball games at Sloan Park accessible to all fans. Click here to view the complete Sloan Park Accessibility Guide.
ACCESSIBLE SEATING
Accessible seating is located throughout the ballpark near an elevator, lift and/or ramp. Tickets are subject to availability and can be purchased online at SloanPark.com, by emailing [email protected] or calling 480-668-0500. Ticket purchases also can be made by visiting the Sloan Park Box Office beginning February 3.

ADVOCATE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL KIDS ZONE
The Advocate Children’s Hospital Kids Zone is located in the northeast corner of Sloan Park and features a miniature baseball diamond and appearances by Clark the Cub!
ANIMALS
Animals, except for service animals as defined by federal law, are not permitted at Sloan Park. Please refer to the Sloan Park Accessibility Guide for more information regarding service animals.
ASSISTANCE DURING A GAME
Please refer to the Fan Services section for more information.
BABY CHANGING AREAS
Baby changing areas can be found in each restroom, including family restrooms located throughout the ballpark. A baby changing area also can be found at First Aid located directly behind Section 111.
BAGS AND BACKPACKS
Bag restrictions are in place at Sloan Park. Hard-sided coolers (regardless of size) and bags or backpacks larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches are NOT permitted at Sloan Park. Other bags (such as wallets, purses, drawstring bags, fanny packs, lunch bags, briefcases and soft-sided coolers) smaller than 16 x 16 x 8 inches in size are permitted. Exceptions will be made for medical bags and diaper bags that accompany guests with young children. Bags are subject to inspection. BAG/LUGGAGE STORAGE
The Cubs do not offer large bag or luggage storage, so please plan accordingly.
BANNERS AND SIGNS
Banners and signs are permitted in Sloan Park when the following guidelines are followed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all fans:
- To avoid game disruption, the times of display are limited to before the game, between innings and after the game.
- The Chicago Cubs reserve the right to confiscate banners/signs with an inappropriate message, those that are commercial or political in nature, those causing a disturbance and/or those obstructing sightlines.
- Banners/signs may never be mounted on sticks, wooden frames or any similar apparatus and may not be attached to any railings, seats or walls of Sloan Park.
BOTTLES, CANS AND OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Factory-sealed plastic bottles, empty refillable bottles, as well as a personal amount of food (in a small, disposable bag) can be brought into the ballpark. No glass bottles, cans, flasks, alcoholic beverages, or hard-sided coolers of any kind may be brought into Sloan Park. Please see the Prohibited Items section for a list of prohibited items.
BUDWEISER ROOFTOP
The Budweiser Rooftop patio space is located on the second level overlooking the outfield at Sloan Park, offering a unique vantage point for fans to enjoy the gameday experience. The area features high-top seating and tables along with fixed seating at the front. Some of the space offers shade, but the area is generally in the sun. The Budweiser Rooftop does not have assigned seating and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A Budweiser Rooftop ticket must be purchased to access, and purchasing a ticket in this area does not guarantee a seat.
CAMERAS/VIDEO EQUIPMENT
Visitors are welcome to bring video and still cameras into the ballpark as long as they are not professional grade – this includes extended and removable lenses and camera attachments like microphones. Tripods are not allowed in Sloan Park. Recordings may be used for personal viewing only. Any other use, distribution or commercial use is prohibited. Fans may not distribute any copyrighted game information without permission of the Chicago Cubs.
CASHLESS POLICY
From parking and retail to concessions and 50/50 raffle tickets, all purchases are cashless and require a credit card at Sloan Park. Reverse ATMs are available for fans to convert cash to a credit card that can be used for purchases at Sloan Park and elsewhere.
CHILDREN'S TICKETS
Fans age 2-and-under are admitted to Sloan Park games without a ticket, provided they are seated on the lap of a parent or guardian.
For the safety of our youngest fans, the Cubs offer identification wristbands for children to wear with their parent/guardian's contact information and seat location for the game. These wristbands will help reunite lost children with their parent/guardian. Wristbands are available at Fan Services.
CODE OF CONDUCT
In conjunction with the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, the Chicago Cubs are committed to keeping Sloan Park a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment for all fans. Our associates have been trained to proactively intervene where necessary to respond to unacceptable behavior such as:
- Unruly behavior including but not limited to foul/abusive language or obscene/threatening gestures, fighting, taunting or making threatening remarks;
- Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption or any illegal drug
- Smoking in any form including electronic cigarettes;
- Displays of affection not appropriate in a public, family setting;
- Obscene or indecent clothing or signs;
- Any disruption of the game or event, including throwing objects or trespassing on the playing field or in other restricted areas;
- Sitting in a location other than the guest’s ticketed seat; or
- Entering the field of play as prohibited by Arizona law.
Any guest not adhering to the above code or behaving in an unruly manner may be subject to removal from Sloan Park. The Chicago Cubs and Sloan Park reserve the right to determine what is unruly or unacceptable behavior and to take any and all actions permitted by applicable law, including without limitation removal and prosecution.

CONCESSIONS
Levy Restaurants proudly manages food, beverage, and merchandise sales at Sloan Park. For guest convenience, there are six concession stands as well as multiple portable cart outlets located throughout the ballpark.

DRINKING FOUNTAINS
Drinking fountains are located throughout the ballpark, outside each restroom location. Refillable water bottle stations also are located throughout the ballpark.
ELEVATORS
Public elevators are located just inside the Home Plate Gate, on the southwest side of the facility, as well as underneath the Budweiser Rooftop on the north side of the facility.
ENTERING THE BALLPARK
For your safety, Sloan Park requires all guests, staff and media to be screened prior to entry. Using our touchless entry process, guests will not have to remove items such as mobile phones, wallets and keys before passing through the metal detector. Following the screening process, a guest’s mobile ticket, available exclusively via the MLB Ballpark app, will be scanned by Sloan Park staff. Guests may be subject to additional screening as determined by security and Sloan Park personnel.
Bag restrictions are in place at Sloan Park. Hard-sided coolers (regardless of size) and bags or backpacks larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches are NOT permitted at Sloan Park. FAN SERVICES
Fan Services is located just inside the First Base Gate. Services provided include answers to fan questions, ballpark food locations, directions and more. Exclusive Spring Training celebration buttons, First Timer’s Certificates and child identification wristbands are available at Fan Services. Fans may also share their feedback here regarding their experience at Sloan Park.

FIREARMS AND WEAPONS
No firearms or other weapons are allowed on Sloan Park premises. Please see the Prohibited Items section below for an updated list of prohibited items.
FIRST AID
The First Aid station is near the Home Plate Gate, behind Section 111. Signage identifies this area. Fans in need of first aid may ask the nearest Sloan Park associate, security guard or Cubs associate to request first aid or medical personnel.
FIRST TIMER'S CERTIFICATES
Remember your first trip to Sloan Park with a personalized First Timer's Certificate. First Timer's Certificates are available at Fan Services located near the First Base Gate.
FOUL BALLS AND HOME RUN BALLS
Fans are permitted to keep foul balls and home run balls hit into occupied seating areas as souvenirs. However, fans must not enter the playing area to retrieve balls or otherwise interfere with balls still in play. All fans, especially those sitting along the foul lines in the box seats, are cautioned to stay alert for hard-hit foul balls or bats that might leave the field of play.
Ticket holders assume all risks and dangers incidental to the game of baseball, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the actual playing of the game including (but not exclusively) the danger of being injured by or in connection with any thrown or batted ball. The Chicago Cubs are not liable for resulting injuries. The Chicago Cubs cannot be held responsible for the conduct of other guests when attempting to obtain a foul or home run ball.
GATES
Gates will open 90 minutes before the scheduled start time of all Spring Training games at Sloan Park. Visit the Transportation page for a detailed map.
There are four gates at Sloan Park:
- Center Field Gate is located on the north side of the ballpark.
- Right Field Gate is located on the southeast side of the ballpark.
- First Base Gate is located on the south side of the ballpark.
- Home Plate Gate is located on the southwest side of the ballpark.
GROUP TICKETS
Bring your group out to a game at Sloan Park! The group ticket minimum is 15 tickets for regular seating or 30 tickets for hospitality seating.

KIDS RUN THE BASES PRESENTED BY LEGACY TRADITIONAL SCHOOLS
Kids Run the Bases is available for fans 13-and-under to enjoy running the bases after Sunday home games at Sloan Park, weather permitting. Please listen to in-game announcements and video board instructions for additional details, including specific meeting location on the main concourse following the conclusion of the game. Parents are asked to remain in the main seating bowl during Kids Run the Bases.
GENERAL ADMISSION SEATING
For fans who purchase general admission tickets and elect to sit in the lawn area, blankets and towels are permitted. Stadium seats, elevated lawn chairs or any seats with legs are prohibited. Lawn space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
LOST AND FOUND
Any items found at Sloan Park should be brought to the attention of a uniformed Sloan Park associate or can be turned into Fan Services located near First Base Gate. If the item isn't located during the game, fans may call the next day to check if the item was found. Guests inquiring about lost items may call 602-402-1336. The Chicago Cubs and Sloan Park are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
LOST CHILDREN & PARENTS
A child who has been separated from his or her parents will be escorted by Sloan Park staff to the Cubs security office located behind Section 111. A parent trying to locate his or her child should notify Sloan Park staff at Fan Services.
For the safety of our youngest fans, the Cubs offer identification wristbands for children to wear with their parent/guardian's contact information and seat location for the game. These wristbands will help reunite lost children with their parent/guardian. Wristbands are available at Fan Services.
MARQUEE MESSAGES
On gamedays, fans are able to request complimentary custom messages on the Sloan Park Marquee. Beginning when gates open until the bottom of the seventh inning, fans can request a custom Sloan Park Marquee message by joining the queue adjacent to the Marquee and providing their message to the Guest Services team member managing the queue. Please note there is a limit of 20 characters per line and messages are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
MERCHANDISE
The Cubs Team Store at Sloan Park is located inside the Right Field Gate, on the southwest side of the ballpark. Additional souvenir shops are located behind home plate and left field.
MLB BALLPARK APP
Cubs tickets are available exclusively as mobile tickets via the MLB Ballpark app. The MLB Ballpark app provides a convenient, secure way for fans to use and share Cubs tickets, allowing for easy ticket management and entry into games at Sloan Park using a mobile device. It helps prevent lost or stolen tickets and provides up-to-date game time information.

PARKING
Parking may be purchased on gamedays on a first-come, first-served basis. ADA parking will be available for purchase in the Blue and Yellow Lots. All purchases will be cashless and require a credit card.

PRACTICE FIELDS
Practice fields at the Nike Performance Center and Riverview Baseball Complex, including Minor League Quad Fields, are open to the public. Please see the Workouts section for additional details or click here for the most up-to-date practice schedule.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
Fans are prohibited from bringing the following items into Sloan Park:
- Aerosol cans (including sunscreen)
- Air horns or other distracting noisemakers
- Alcohol
- Animals, except service dogs to aid guests with disabilities
- Any device that may interfere with and/or distract any sports or event participant, other guest, audio or audio/visual telecast or recording of the game or event
- Bags larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches
- Banners/signs/flags with an inappropriate message, those that are commercial in nature, those that are political in nature, those causing a disturbance and/or those obstructing sightlines
- Brooms, poles, staffs or sticks
- Cameras that are professional grade – this includes extended and removable lenses and camera attachments like microphones
- Cans, glass containers, and flasks
- Clothing with obscene, indecent, profane and/or inappropriate language or visuals
- Firearms, knives or weapons of any kind
- Fireworks
- Full-sized baseball bats
- Firearms
- Folding Chairs (including lawn chairs and stadium seats)
- Hard-sided coolers (regardless of size)
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Inflatables (including beach balls)
- Laser pointers

- Soda and other beverages (water in an unopened plastic bottle is permitted)

- Any other items deemed inappropriate by ballpark operations personnel.
All bags are subject to inspection. To ensure fan safety, the club reserves the right to refuse admittance of any item deemed hazardous or suspicious, including any item capable of being used as a projectile.
RADIOS/TELEVISIONS
Hand-held radios and small televisions are welcomed at Sloan Park as long as they do not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the game. Please be considerate by using a low volume or headphones. Sloan Park staff reserve the right to ask any questions or discontinue the use of such devices.
RAIN CHECK POLICY
Tickets may not be refunded or exchanged. However, should the ticketed game or other event to which your ticket applies not progress to or beyond a point of play constituting a regulation game, your game ticket will be refunded. Information will be shared directly with ticket holders via email.
RE-ENTRY
There is no re-entry allowed at Sloan Park.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are located throughout Sloan Park. Restrooms can be found behind sections 103, 112, 119 and 120, behind the left-field and right-field seating areas and on all three party decks. Restrooms are equipped with infant changing tables. Please ask Sloan Park staff for directions to the closest restroom.
SHUTTLE/GOLF CART SERVICES
We offer accessible golf cart services to and from the Orange, Yellow and Purple Lots to the Right Field Gate at Sloan Park located on Sheffield Avenue. The accessible golf cart shuttle can accommodate motorized wheelchairs and scooters. There also is an eight-passenger golf cart shuttle available. This shuttle can only accommodate portable wheelchairs and foldable walkers.
You cannot reserve the service ahead of time. The golf carts run continuously before, during and after the game, beginning when parking lots open until one hour after the game ends.
SMOKING AND TOBACCO USE
No smoking of any kind and no spitting is permitted in Sloan Park.
Smoking is allowed in the designated smoking areas outside of the Center Field and First Base Gates.
STROLLERS
Collapsible strollers that can be stored underneath the seat or placed flat on the grass are permitted at Sloan Park. Stroller parking is available in the Advocate Children’s Hospital Kids Zone in the northeast corner of the ballpark. The Chicago Cubs and Sloan Park are not responsible for lost or damaged items. Strollers will not be permitted to be left unattended on the concourse or anywhere outside of the designated stroller parking area or folded at the guest’s seats.
TAILGATING POLICY
Tailgating is permitted in all parking lots. Lots open four hours before the start of the game. Spots are available on a first-come basis. Tailgating in ballpark lots is restricted to a guest's own parking space, either in front of or behind their vehicle. Tailgating cannot block multiple spaces or roadways.
TEAM STORE
The Cubs Team Store is located at Sloan Park (2330 W. Rio Salado Parkway) near the Right Field Gate. All purchases will be cashless and require a credit card.
Cubs Team Store Hours: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The Cubs Team Store will close with the conclusion of Spring Training.

Sloan Park Tours are available for fans to get a behind-the-scenes look at the Spring Training home of the Chicago Cubs. Tours will be available upon request on non-gamedays only (subject to availability) and will last approximately one hour. Each group must be a minimum of eight people and will cost $15 per person. VIDEO BOARD MESSAGES
Personalize your visit to Sloan Park by purchasing a special message displayed on the Sloan Park video board. Messages can be purchased at SloanPark.com prior to the start of Spring Training. Proceeds will benefit Cubs Charities and its mission to mobilize the power of sport to champion youth, families and communities.
WHEELCHAIR SERVICE
For guests who require assistance from the gates to their seats, complimentary wheelchair service is available. Upon entering the ballpark, please ask a Sloan Park associate for assistance. If wheelchair service is needed to transport a guest to a seat location or back to one of the gates at the conclusion of the game, please notify a Sloan Park employee for assistance.
Wheelchair service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis and guests may be asked to wait until a wheelchair becomes available. Due to the limited number of wheelchairs, wheelchair assistance is only provided to and from the seating location and gate, and wheelchairs are not permitted to go off property. Please see the nearest Sloan Park representative in the event of a medical emergency in which wheelchair service is needed.
WILL CALL
Cubs tickets are available exclusively as mobile tickets via the MLB Ballpark app. Will call, including ticket pick-up and drop-off services, is not available at Sloan Park. Ticket holders can utilize the ticket forward functionality in the MLB Ballpark app to transfer tickets.
WORKOUTS
Practice fields at the Nike Performance Center and Riverview Baseball Complex, including Minor League Quad Fields, are open to the public. Though practice times vary on non-gamedays, they often begin at 9 a.m. and run until approximately 12:30 p.m. Fields 3-6 on the far west side of the complex have open access to the public and are a great opportunity to watch batting practice and various other workouts.
