What measures have been taken for fan health and safety at TD Ballpark?

  • Capacity at TD Ballpark is limited to 23% capacity to maintain social distancing
  • Tickets are sold in socially distanced pods of up to four seats, and fans must remain in their seating pod unless using the concessions or restrooms
  • Extra cleaning and sanitisation pre, during, and postgame, with a focus on high traffic and high touch areas
  • Face coverings are required for entry (please find information on permitted face coverings below); fans aged two and older are required to wear face coverings at all times while on TD Ballpark property, except when actively eating or drinking in their seats
  • Mobile Ticketing only for entry in order to minimize contact
  • Symptom screening prior to entry; fans experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, or who have tested positive for COVID-19, within the 14 days prior to the date of the game will not be permitted entry
  • Hand sanitizing stations available throughout the ballpark
  • Cashless payment encouraged to limit contact
  • No player autographs
  • No fan or media attendance at player workouts at TD Ballpark or the Player Development Complex; parking lot access will be restricted during player workouts at both locations
  • Health & safety ambassadors on-site to help fans and ensure protocols are followed

Fan Health Requirements

All attendees are required to comply with all TD Ballpark health and safety policies and posted instructions while on TD Ballpark property. Any attendee who does not comply with such policies may not be permitted entry and/or may be required to leave the ballpark. No refunds or credit will be granted in such circumstance.

If you or any member of your seating pod has been exposed to COVID-19 or is feeling sick, you must not travel to the ballpark.

Attendees are not permitted to enter the ballpark if, during the 14 days prior to the date of the game, they have: (i) tested positive or presumptively positive for COVID-19 or any other Communicable Disease (defined below) or been identified as a potential carrier of COVID-19 or any other Communicable Disease; (ii) experienced any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptom Commonly associated with COVID-19 or any other Communicable Disease; or (iii) been in close contact with or in the immediate vicinity of any person who is confirmed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19 or any other Communicable Disease.

A "Communicable Disease" as used herein means COVID-19, any strains, variants, or mutations thereof, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, and/or any other communicable and/or infectious diseases, viruses, bacteria or illnesses or the causes thereof. Symptoms commonly associated with COVID-19 and/or other Communicable Diseases include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Cough (new onset or worsening)
  • Fever (felt feverish or warm)
  • Headache
  • Chills
  • Sore or scratchy throat
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Muscle pain
  • Nasal congestion
  • Runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Gastrointestinal distress or upset stomach
  • Fatigue or weakness
  • Swelling of the toes or lower extremities
  • Chest tightness or pain
  • Swollen lymph nodes or glands
  • Abdominal pain
  • Rash or "COVID toes"

Attendees who display any of these symptoms may be denied entry to the ballpark or, if already inside the ballpark, may be required to leave. Attendees must comply with instructions of ballpark personnel and health authorities, including any instructions to leave the ballpark.

Social Distancing

What are the socially distanced seating plans?

Capacity at TD Ballpark is currently limited to 23% to maintain a socially distanced seating plan and ballpark flow. Tickets are sold in socially distanced pods of up to four seats.

Fans must stay in their designated seating pod while watching the game, unless using the concessions or restrooms, at which point, they must maintain social distance from anyone not in their seating pod.

Where can I go in the ballpark?

Fan access within the ballpark is limited to maintain social distancing. During the game, fans are asked to stay in their seats with the exception of travelling to concessions, restrooms, or for emergencies and fan services support. Fans are not be permitted to explore the Orange Trail Boardwalk or Eddie’s Bar unless their seating pod is located in one of these areas.

Can I get player autographs?

Player autographs are unfortunately not be permitted this year, for the health and safety of all ballpark visitors.

In addition, no fan or media attendance is permitted at player workouts at TD Ballpark or the Player Development Complex; parking lot access will be restricted during these times at both locations.


Face Coverings

What are the face coverings requirements for fans at TD Ballpark?

Fans aged two and older are required to wear face coverings at all times while on TD Ballpark property, except when actively eating or drinking in their seats. Face coverings are required for fan entry; please review the below for acceptable facial coverings at TD Ballpark. Fans who do not comply with the face covering policy may be required to leave TD Ballpark.

The requirement of a face covering does not apply to any person who has supporting documentation of a medical condition or disability that prevents wearing a face covering.

What face coverings are considered acceptable at TD Ballpark?

Acceptable face coverings must:

  • Be made with at least two (2) layers of breathable material
  • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
  • Fit snugly, but comfortably, against the side of the face
  • Be secured with ties or ear loops to remain hands-free

What face coverings are unacceptable at TD Ballpark?

Based on public health guidance, the following are examples of unacceptable face coverings for entry to and use within TD Ballpark:

  • Neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas, and face coverings containing valves, mesh material, or holes of any kind
  • Clear face shields may only be worn in combination with an approved face covering
  • Costume masks are prohibited

Entry and Ticketing

Can I bring a bag?

In order to reduce touchpoints between fans and staff, bags are not permitted except if used for medical purposes or if they are a manufactured diaper bag that accompanies an infant or young child.

Bags sized 7" x 4" x 2” or smaller are permitted. No bag storage is available at the ballpark.

How will gate entry operate?

The main TD Ballpark gate is the primary entrance. Gates are open 90-minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

Line queue management is in place with markers to maintain social distancing. To expedite this process, fans are kindly asked to have their mobile screen brightened and digital ticket pulled up on screen to scan, prior to entry.

How will tickets be scanned?

Only mobile tickets will be valid for entry; paper or PDF tickets are not accepted.

For the safety of fans and staff, fans are required to hold and scan their own mobile tickets at the entry gate.

How does mobile ticketing work?

Your mobile tickets are easily accessible through the MLB Ballpark app using your MLB.com login information. To ensure they appear on the app, please ensure you use the same email address for the MLB Ballpark app as you used to purchase your tickets on Ticketmaster. Once you have verified your MLB.com login email, your tickets will be viewable on the “Tickets” tab within the MLB Ballpark app.

Fans are prohibited from selling, transferring, or otherwise providing any of their game tickets to anyone other than the individuals within their pod with whom they are attending the game.

The BayCare Box Office at TD Ballpark is not be open for ticket purchases. All tickets must be purchased on Ticketmaster.com or the Ticketmaster app.


Parking

Accessible parking will be available for fans; however, additional TD Ballpark parking will be limited due to social distancing infrastructure required.


Food and Beverage

How has the food and beverage experience changed?

Food and beverage concessions are open at TD Ballpark. For speed of service and to minimize crowding, food and beverage menu offerings have been modified and line queue management is in place with markers to maintain social distancing.

All food purchased at TD Ballpark is individually packaged with wrapped utensils to limit gatherings at touchpoints.

We encourage fans to use cashless forms of payment at TD Ballpark to limit touchpoints; however, cash will still be accepted.

Can I bring my own food and beverages?

No outside food is permitted inside TD Ballpark. Each guest may bring one (1) sealed non-flavored plastic water bottle that is 20 oz./600 ml or less in size. No bag storage is available at the ballpark.


Merchandise

How has the retail experience changed?

Jays Shop at TD Ballpark is open at a limited capacity with social distancing protocols in place. For the safety of shoppers, items that have been tried on or returned are quarantined for 72 hours before being placed back on the floor.

TD Ballpark is encouraging all fans to use cashless forms of payment to help limit person to person contact in all areas of the park.
