STM Account Credit FAQ

This FAQ page will provide an overview for Season Ticket Members who currently have 2020 account credit associated with their My Royals Tickets account and the renewal options available for the 2021 season.

We truly appreciate your unwavering support during these times and our goal is to provide our most loyal fans with additional benefits and a seamless process to transition their account balances to the 2021 season.

Season Ticket Members who have paid any amount towards the balance of a traditional 2020 season ticket and parking package(s) that were designated as impacted, directly from Kansas City Royals and MLB, are eligible to receive ‘Impacted Game Credit’. ‘Bonus Credit’ is only available to Season Ticket Members who chose to keep all their paid impacted credits on their respective account. This includes purchasers of Full, Half, Partial, and Select 64 season ticket packages.

Season Ticket Members will receive credit for all paid games from April 2 through September 27 on their season ticket account. The ‘Impacted Game Credit’ is the sum of money paid (including applicable fees) towards 2020 traditional season ticket and parking package(s).

‘Impacted Game Credit’ will be applicable towards season ticket renewals, additional season ticket plans, mini-plans, voucher packages, single game tickets, group tickets, or nightly suite rentals for the 2021 MLB regular season. Please note, you cannot change how you allocate your ‘Impacted Game Credit’ after it is consumed.

Season Ticket Members with eligible 2020 ‘Impacted Game Credit’ on their account will also receive a ‘5% Bonus Credit’ on all paid games within their 2020 season ticket and parking package(s). To calculate your ‘Bonus Credit’, the Kansas City Royals will multiply your eligible ‘Impacted Game Credit’ by .05. For example, if you have $1,000.00 of eligible ‘Impacted Game Credit’ on your season ticket account, you will receive a $50.00 ‘Bonus Credit’.

‘Bonus Credit’ (if applicable) is valid towards season ticket renewals, additional season ticket plans, mini-plans, voucher packages, single game tickets, group tickets, or nightly suite rentals for the 2021 MLB regular season. Please note, you cannot change how you allocate your ‘Bonus Credit’ (if applicable) after it is consumed.

‘Impacted Game Credit’ represents funds paid towards your 2020 ticket and parking package(s), and ‘5% Bonus Credit’ (if applicable) is additional credits that have been added to your account by the Kansas City Royals as a token of our appreciation.

Yes, your ‘Bonus Credit’ (if applicable) can be applied towards your 2021 season ticket renewal balance. Please note that your ‘Impacted Game Credit’ will be applied first, and the ‘Bonus Credit’ (if applicable) will be applied next to pay the outstanding balance of the 2021 season ticket plan renewal or upgrade (as applicable). Season Ticket Members will be responsible for any outstanding balance for the 2021 season ticket plan renewal or upgrade.

Any excess ‘Bonus Credit’ (if applicable) can be applied towards other ticket upgrades, additional season ticket plans, mini-plans, voucher packages, single game tickets, group tickets, or nightly suite rentals for the 2021 regular season. Any unused or unapplied ‘Bonus Credit’ shall automatically expire after the 2021 MLB regular season.

No, ‘Impacted Game Credit’ and/or ‘Bonus Credit’ (if applicable) are non-transferable.

Your ‘Impacted Game Credit’ and ‘Bonus Credit’ (if applicable) will be available immediately once 2021 renewal invoices are released.

Yes, ‘Impacted Game Credit’ expires at the conclusion of the 2021 MLB regular season.

Yes, ‘Bonus Credit’ (if applicable) expires at the conclusion of the 2021 MLB regular season.

‘Impacted Game Credit’ and ‘Bonus Credit’ (if applicable) is non-transferable to 2022 as it expires after the 2021 MLB regular season has concluded. The Royals cannot guarantee that your same seating location will be available in 2022 should you decide to forego the 2021 season, however, we will make every opportunity to get you comparable seats.

You may owe a balance in 2021 depending on if you make any changes to your season ticket plan. However, you do have your ‘Bonus Credit’ (if applicable) available to help cover the cost difference should you have a balance due. Please refer to the Season Ticket Member Incentives page for more information on what benefits are available to you going into the 2021 season.

Should you request a refund and decide not to go with any sort of ticket plan or package in 2021, unfortunately, you will not be able to maintain your account longevity or account number. Should you decide to come back in 2022, your account longevity will start in the 2022 season.
