Red Sox Sign 13 Players Selected in 2024 MLB First-year Player Draft
BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox have signed 13 players selected in the 2024 MLB First-Year Player Draft. The club also signed non-drafted right-handed pitcher Calvin Bickerstaff out of Kent State University.
The Red Sox have signed six of their first nine selections in this year’s draft: right-handed pitcher Brandon Neely (3rd round), outfielder Zach Ehrhard (4th round), left-handed pitcher Brandon Clarke (5th round), right-handed pitcher Blake Aita (6th round), and catcher Hudson White (9th round).
The Red Sox have also signed each of their selections in rounds 14-20: right-handed pitchers Alex Bouchard (14th round), Joey Gartrell (15th round), and Griffin Kilander (16th round), outfielder Yan Cruz (17th round), right-handed pitcher Cole Tolbert (18th round), third baseman D’Angelo Ortiz (19th round), and right-handed pitcher Ben Hansen (20th round).
All signees will report to Fort Myers, FL.
