BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox today announced the following roster moves:

• Left-handed pitcher Brandon Walter was optioned to Triple-A Worcester.

• The following players were reassigned to minor league camp: right-handed pitchers Melvin Adón, Franklin German, and Alex Hoppe; left-handed pitcher Helcris Olivarez; and catchers Nathan Hickey and Stephen Scott.

With today’s roster moves, the Red Sox have 59 players remaining in Major League Spring Training camp, including 20 non-roster invitees. An updated camp roster is attached.
