BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox today announced the following roster moves:

• Infielder/outfielder Enmanuel Valdez was optioned to Triple-A Worcester.
• Left-handed pitcher Oddanier Mosqueda and right-handed pitcher Chase Shugart were reassigned to minor league camp.

Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom made the announcement.

With today’s roster moves, the Red Sox have 47 players remaining in Major League Spring Training camp, including 13 non-roster invitees. An updated camp roster is attached.
