Red Sox to Hold 2013 Ticket Prices at 2012 Levels

The Boston Red Sox today announced that prices for all ticket categories available for public sale for the 2013 regular season at Fenway Park will be held at 2012 levels.  This "freeze" applies to both season ticket and individual game sales.  This marks the third time in five years the team has held ticket prices.  The Red Sox also froze prices for the 2009 and 2012 seasons.  

"It was abundantly clear this year that we should hold the line on ticket prices," said President/CEO Larry Lucchino. "Over the past few years, we have fallen short of our goals to play postseason baseball. Through it all, fans have shown their deep loyalty and support, for which we are all grateful. Our commitment to winning is as strong as it has ever been, and we look forward to the challenge of bringing our fans the winning and entertaining baseball team they richly deserve."

Ticket prices for JetBlue Park at Fenway South will also be held at 2012 levels for the 2013 Spring Training season at the team's complex in Lee County, Florida.

The club will again provide special pricing for clergy and for active members of the military, as it has for many years.
