Below is a list of every player drafted in the first round of the 2024 MLB Draft.

Each club had until 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, Aug. 1, to come to terms with its Draft selections. If a player has exhausted his collegiate eligibility, he can sign at any time up until one week prior to the next year’s Draft.

First Round

1. Guardians: Travis Bazzana, 2B, Oregon State
Pick value: $10,570,600
Signing bonus: $8,950,000
Cleveland agreed to a deal with this year's No. 1 overall pick for $8.95 million, which is below slot value ($10,570,600). The number also comes in lower than what last year's top selection, Paul Skenes, received from the Pirates: $9.2 million.

2. Reds: Chase Burns, RHP, Wake Forest
Pick value: $9,785,000
Signing bonus: $9,250,000
The Reds signed Burns to a record deal of $9.25 million, sources told MLB.com. That surpassed the $9.2 million that last year's first overall pick, Paul Skenes, received from the Pirates.

3. Rockies: Charlie Condon, OF, Georgia
Pick value: $9,070,800
Signing bonus: $9,250,000
Condon signed with Colorado for the largest Draft bonus in MLB history at $9.25 million. The record deal is tied with what No. 2 pick Chase Burns received from the Reds.

4. Athletics: Nick Kurtz, 1B, Wake Forest
Pick value: $8,370,800
Signing bonus: $7,000,000
Kurtz, who batted .306 with 22 home runs, 57 RBIs and 78 walks for Wake Forest this season while also earning First Team All-ACC honors, signed with Oakland for a below-slot $7 million deal.

5. White Sox: Hagen Smith, LHP, Arkansas
Pick value: $7,763,700
Signing bonus: $8,000,000

Chicago and Smith agreed to the largest bonus for a left-handed pitcher in Draft history, surpassing Brendan McKay's record ($7,005,000) in 2014. Smith set another record during the college season with 17.3 strikeouts per nine innings.

6. Royals: Jac Caglianone, 1B/LHP, Florida
Pick value: $7,213,800
Signing bonus: $7,500,000
Listed as a two-way player, Caglianone will only hit the rest of this season, first in the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League before a potential promotion to Single-A Columbia. In the fall, Caglianone and the Royals will re-evaluate what the best plan is to potentially hit and pitch.

7. Cardinals: JJ Wetherholt, SS, West Virginia
Pick value: $6,823,700
Signing bonus: $6,900,000

The Cards agreed with Wetherholt -- considered by some scouts the best pure hitter in this year's Draft class -- to a slightly over-slot deal of $6.9 million, Jonathan Mayo confirmed.

8. Angels: Christian Moore, 2B, Tennessee

The Angels and Moore agreed to a below-slot deal of $4.99 million. The second baseman served as a driving force in Tennessee's National Championship victory, recording the second cycle in Men's College World Series history in the semifinals.

9. Pirates: Konnor Griffin, SS, Jackson Prep School (MS)

Signing bonus: $6,532,025
Pittsburgh agreed to terms with Griffin, the top prep prospect in the Draft, on an above-slot deal. The Gatorade National High School Player of the Year has 30-30 potential and could be an excellent defender at shortstop or in center field.

10. Nationals: Seaver King, SS, Wake Forest

Signing bonus: $5,150,000
The Nationals agreed with King to an under-slot deal of $5.15 million. The former D-II standout transferred to Wake Forest in 2024 and posted a .308 batting average in his first taste of ACC baseball.

11. Tigers: Bryce Rainer, SS, Harvard-Westlake HS (CA)

The Tigers agreed with Rainer to a slightly over-slot deal of $5.8 million. The California prep star will forgo his commitment to Texas.

12. Red Sox: Braden Montgomery, OF, Texas A&M

The Red Sox agreed with Montgomery on an under-slot deal of $5 million. The college outfielder marks seventh consecutive batter that Boston has drafted in the first round.

The Giants went the college route with their first-rounder for the sixth time in the past seven Drafts and agreed to terms with the power-hitting outfielder on July 24, according to Jim Callis.

15. Mariners: Jurrangelo Cijntje, RHP/LHP, Mississippi State
Pick value: $4,880,900
Signing bonus: 4,880,900
The switch-pitcher's slot-value signing bonus was the largest given out by Seattle since Emerson Hancock in 2020. Along with second-rounder Ryan Sloan, the duo’s combined bonus of $7.88 million is the most the Mariners have spent on a pair of picks in at least a decade.

16. Marlins: PJ Morlando, OF, Summerville HS (SC)

The former High School Home Run Derby winner is headed to the Marlins organization, agreeing to a below-slot $3.4 million bonus.

17. Brewers: Braylon Payne, OF, Elkins HS (TX)

The Brewers signed Payne to a below-slot deal of $3.44 million, according to MLB.com's Jim Callis. The Texas high schooler will forgo his commitment to Houston.

18. Rays: Theo Gillen, OF, Westlake HS (TX)

Gillen, the best pure high school hitter in the Draft, agreed to a deal at slot value with Tampa Bay on July 26. A prep shortstop, he is expected to transition to center field with the Rays, where his plus speed should play well.

19. Mets: Carson Benge, OF, Oklahoma State

New York agreed to terms with Benge on July 24. The Oklahoma native was a two-way player with the Cowboys and hopes to continue to pitch in the pros, where he's up to 96 from the right side, although Mets officials see him more as an outfielder.

20. Blue Jays: Trey Yesavage, RHP, East Carolina

Signing bonus: $4,177,500

The Blue Jays and Yesavage agreed to terms on a slightly over-slot deal of $4,177,500. The right-hander earned American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year honors in 2024 and posted a 2.03 ERA -- fourth among NCAA Division I pitchers.

21. Twins: Kaelen Culpepper, SS, Kansas State

The Twins signed Culpepper to a full-slot deal of $3,934,400. The college shortstop batted .474 in the NCAA Tournament, including hitting for the cycle against Louisiana Tech.

The Orioles agreed to an over-slot deal of $4 million with Honeycutt. The college outfielder sports some of the strongest tools in the class, but needs to cut down his strikeout rate.

23. Dodgers: Kellon Lindsey, SS, Hardee HS (FL)

The Dodgers agreed to terms with Lindsey on an under-slot deal of $3,300,000. The high school shortstop with one of the strongest run tools in the class (75-grade) has the defensive polish to stick at the position.

24. Braves: Cam Caminiti, LHP, Saguaro HS (AZ)

Signing bonus: $3,553,800

Atlanta agreed to terms with Caminiti for the full slot value, although the official bonus is lower because the Braves are one of the teams that use a $2,500 accounting strategy. The 17-year-old southpaw is the top prep pitching prospect in this class and has a chance for three plus pitches.

25. Padres: Kash Mayfield, LHP, Elk City HS (OK)
Pick value: $3,442,100
Signing bonus: $3,442,100
San Diego signed Mayfield, a two-time Gatorade Player of the Year in Oklahoma, to a deal at slot value. The southpaw's fastball is up to 97 mph, and he features a plus changeup and a slurvy breaking ball that he locates well.

26. Yankees: Ben Hess, RHP, Alabama

Signing bonus: $2,747,500
The Yankees agreed to terms with Hess, who has a fastball up to 99 mph with run and carry, on July 24. The savings from this deal helped New York agree on an over-slot bonus with second-rounder Bryce Cunningham ($2.3 million).

27. Phillies: Dante Nori, OF, Northville HS (MI)

MLB.com's Jim Callis reported that Nori signed for $2.5 million, which is below slot value ($3,228,300). The Phillies used some of that money to reach an agreement with second-round pick Griffin Burkholder, who was selected 63rd overall.

The Astros reached a deal with Janek at slot value on July 26. This marks the fourth time that Houston has used a first-round pick on a college catcher in the past 17 Drafts, having previously selected Jason Castro (2008), Michael Kvasnicka (2010) and Korey Lee (2019).

33. Twins: Kyle DeBarge, SS, Louisiana-Lafayette

The Twins have agreed to a slighty below-slot signing bonus of $2.4 million with Kyle DeBarge. The 21-year-old is an elite contact hitter and just the second Ragin Cajun ever drafted in the first round.
