Code of Conduct

Red Sox Nation takes pride in the Fenway Code of Conduct. Here are the nine items on the lineup card.

The Fenway Park Code of Conduct

  1. Avoid balls in play
  2. Never trespass onto the field
  3. Drink responsibly (must be 21+ years of age)
  4. Help keep Fenway Park clean
  5. Refrain from offensive language and hate speech
  6. Be respectful of others
  7. Keep cell phone conversations private
  8. Sit only in your seats
  9. Do not smoke, vape or use tobacco in Fenway Park

Violators are subject to ejection and other penalties including a lifetime ban.

The Boston Red Sox have a zero-tolerance policy with respect to abusive fan behavior and the use of derogatory language or hate speech. Derogatory language is defined as the use of offensive language concerning another person's race, ancestry, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions, covered Veteran status, military service, or genetic predisposition or carrier status. Use of derogatory language or hate speech by fans will result in immediate action including ejection from the game and up to a lifetime ban from Fenway Park.
