After I returned home (from Reds Fantasy Camp), the question I heard the most was, "What was it like"? To describe Reds Fantasy Camp best for me is to say I was playing baseball with 100 of my closest friends for a week. Even though I did not know anybody at Fantasy Camp before attending, I now feel like the people I met were (at Camp) and are now lifelong friends. I thought the one camper's wife best expressed her husband's experience as a 12-year-old describing his first baseball game - this was exactly how I felt.

As a "rookie" camper and lifelong Reds fan, I cannot express my gratitude for my experience at Reds Fantasy Camp. Growing up, most boys have the ambition to play alongside the guys that they watch play the game and admire. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I would have the chance. Thanks to the Reds organization, my dream came true. The Reds should be commended for such an organized Fantasy Camp experience. There was never a hiccup during the week. The one-on-one experience with the pros goes beyond any expression. They were professional, personable and friendly. It was truly a dream come true.

I really don't know how to thank you for EVERYTHING!! I had such big expectations before Reds Fantasy Camp and it way over exceeded what I thought. The former players were so very kind and it was really cool bonding with my teammates. My two coaches were awesome (Tom Browning & Ken Griffey, Sr.). Griffey changed my whole perspective on the game. You could have said that instead of a signed Griffey, Sr. jersey I had to take a signed roll of toilet paper home and I would have been fine with that. I cannot wait to do it again next year and every year after.
