Rangers Youth Academy Notebook -- April 5
Home stretch for baseball and softball at the Academy
The final month of regular season games is underway for L.G. Pinkston High School and Sunset High School baseball teams, which call the Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy at Mercy Street Sports Complex, Presented by Toyota, home all season.
Sunset JV and varsity will host Justin F. Kimball High School on Oates Field today, Friday, April 5, and varsity will return to the diamond on Saturday, April 6 to host Western Hills High School.
Only two home games at the Academy remain for Pinkston softball, including a Tuesday, April 9 contest with Roosevelt.
Pinkston High School baseball and softball teams call the Academy home again in 2019. The facility also supports scheduling for David W. Carter High School and Sunset High School Baseball, in addition to Pinkston Middle School Softball. Various other Dallas ISD games and tournaments are played at the Academy throughout the year, too.
