DALLAS— The Rangers Nike RBI senior baseball team beat Colorado Rockies Nike RBI, 14-2, to clinch a spot in Sunday’s 2023 MLB Nike RBI Southwest Regional Championship Game.

This marks the first time in Texas Rangers Youth Academy history that both the senior and junior baseball teams advanced to the Nike RBI Regional Championship Games.

The Rangers 18U senior baseball team will play at 8:30 a.m. CT on Johnny Oates Field, followed by the 15U junior baseball team, who will play at 11:15 a.m. CT.

Winners in each division will advance to the MLB Nike RBI World Series in Vero Beach, Fla., in early August.

Sunday’s championship games are open to the public at no cost.
