WEDNESDAY

9:30 p.m. ET – Peoria (ATL, MIA, MIL, SD, SEA) @ Mesa (BOS, CHC, LAA, OAK, TB)
The Peoria lineup is full of doubles machines, led by the AFL's top two in two-baggers through Week 1 -- Colt Emerson (SEA No. 1/MLB No. 27), who had six in five games, and Ethan Salas (SD No. 1/MLB No. 19), who had four. Mesa starter Danny Kirwin (BOS) will also have to navigate AFL home run leader Kemp Alderman (MIA No. 12) in his second outing. The right-hander fanned five across three innings of one-run ball in his circuit debut.

9:30 p.m. ET – Salt River (ARI, COL, MIN, NYY, WSH) @ Scottsdale (DET, NYM, PIT, SF, TOR)
D-backs No. 7 prospect Yu-Min Lin tossed three scoreless innings in his AFL debut. The Taiwanese left-hander looks to keep his spotless ERA and he could be a challenge for a Scottsdale team full of talented left-handed bats like the Giants' Bryce Eldridge (MLB No. 35), the Mets' Drew Gilbert (MLB No. 74) and the Pirates' prospect Termarr Johnson (MLB No. 75). That Top 100 contingent is joined in the Scorpions' lineup by ninth-ranked Tigers prospect , a fellow lefty hitter who was a Week 1 standout, recording a three-homer game against Glendale.

THURSDAY

4:30 p.m. ET – Scottsdale (DET, NYM, PIT, SF, TOR) @ Peoria (ATL, MIA, MIL, SD, SEA)
Led by Emerson, Salas and Alderman, the Javelinas lineup has been scoring runs in bunches all fall. Stopping them will be the task for Scottsdale starter, the Cuban left-hander Kendry Rojas (TOR No. 11), who pitched to a 2.43 ERA at High-A this season as a 21-year-old. He’ll be opposed by righty Coleman Crow (MIL No. 30).

4:30 p.m. ET – Mesa (BOS, CHC, LAA, OAK, TB) @ Salt River (ARI, COL, MIN, NYY, WSH)
Mesa catcher Moises Ballesteros (CHC No. 4/MLB No. 44) is making his presence felt at and behind the dish this fall, and in this matinee, his assignment will be catching 6-foot-5 left-hander T.J. Fondtain (Rays) in the southpaw’s second start of the fall. Another physical starting pitcher – though this one a righty – in Jackson Fristoe (Yankees) toes the rubber for Salt River, while knuckleballer Devin Kirby may make an appearance out of the Rafters’ ‘pen.

9:30 p.m. ET – Surprise (BAL, CLE, HOU, KC, TEX) @ Glendale (CIN, CWS, LAD, PHI, STL)
If Glendale finds itself with a late lead, it knows who to hand the ball to. The Desert Dogs’ bullpen is anchored by righty Matt Svanson (Cardinals), whose 27 saves at Double-A Springfield ranked second in the Minor Leagues among closers. Right-hander Jerming Rosario (Dodgers) will start for Glendale against righty Jose Fleury (HOU No. 10) for Surprise.

FRIDAY

4:30 p.m. ET – Peoria (ATL, MIA, MIL, SD, SEA) @ Salt River (ARI, COL, MIN, NYY, WSH)
While there has been no shortage of hot starts in Peoria’s lineup, the one Brewers No. 27 prospect Juan Baez is off to has flown relatively under the radar. Which is unfair, since the second baseman went 8-for-his-first 15 with six runs scored in his first four games. His assignment here will be Salt River right-hander Gabriel Hughes, the Rockies’ No. 22 prospect, while righty Landon Harper starts for the Javelinas.

4:30 p.m. ET – Mesa (BOS, CHC, LAA, OAK, TB) @ Glendale (CIN, CWS, LAD, PHI, STL)
Phillies top pitching prospect Andrew Painter (No. 32 overall) makes his second start of the fall after logging two innings in his circuit debut, marking his first game action since undergoing Tommy John surgery in July 2023. All eyes will be on Painter, who flashed triple-digit fastball velocity and was MLB Pipeline’s top pitching prospect before he was shut down with the injury. The 21-year-old dominated in his first extended stretch in pro ball before getting hurt, pitching to a 1.48 ERA with 167 strikeouts in 109 2/3 innings across four levels in 2022.

9:30 p.m. ET – Surprise (BAL, CLE, HOU, KC, TEX) @ Scottsdale (DET, NYM, PIT, SF, TOR)
The Scorpions have gotten an early jolt from catcher Thayron Liranzo, the Tigers' No. 6 prospect, who hit .315 with five homers and 20 RBIs in less than a month at High-A down the stretch after being acquired in the Jack Flaherty deal from the Dodgers. It could be a good night for offense in the desert, as the pitching matchup features a pair of right-handers in Zak Kent (Guardians) and Elijah Pleasants (Giants), who struggled in their debut outings.

SATURDAY

3:00 p.m. ET – Salt River (ARI, COL, MIN, NYY, WSH) @ Glendale (CIN, CWS, LAD, PHI, STL)
The Rafters have a pair of toolsy outfielders off to scorching hot starts in Robert Hassell III (Nationals' No. 13 prospect) and Garrett Martin (Yankees), but Glendale has quite a few talented bats producing as well, especially White Sox No. 3 prospect Colson Montgomery (No. 37 overall), Zyhir Hope (Dodgers No. 11) and Otto Kemp (Phillies No. 28). They’ll be a challenging assignment for 21-year-old righty Carlos Lagrange (Yankees No. 20), who starts for Salt River.

6:30 p.m. ET – Scottsdale (DET, NYM, PIT, SF, TOR) @ Surprise (BAL, CLE, HOU, KC, TEX)
The Saguaros roster has four Royals Top 30 prospects, with Jac Caglianone (Kansas City No. 1) and catcher Carter Jensen (club No. 5) headlining the Kansas City contingent for Surprise. Meanwhile, Scottsdale has more of a city feel with three Top 30 prospects from the Mets (Jett Williams, No. 2; Drew Gilbert, No. 3; Jacob Reimer, No. 20). Righty Leandro Lopez (Rangers) opposes left-hander Jake Miller (Tigers) on the mound in this one.

9:30 p.m. ET – Mesa (BOS, CHC, LAA, OAK, TB) @ Peoria (ATL, MIA, MIL, SD, SEA)
Solar Sox outfielder Tre' Morgan (Rays No. 10) already has two four-hit games and a grand slam this fall. Peoria shortstop Colt Emerson (Mariners No. 1) already has a five-hit game, and outfielder Kemp Alderman (Marlins No. 12) has a grip on the AFL home run lead so far. What can they do for an encore? The ball might be flying under the lights in this one. Right-handers Jake Walkinshaw (A’s) and Ryan Birchard (Brewers) are the pitching matchup.
