Rangers announce details for 2025 game TV broadcasts

January 28th, 2025

ARLINGTON -- The Rangers television deal has finally come together.

On Tuesday, the club announced details for the club’s 2025 television game broadcasts on Rangers Sports Network (RSN), the creation of which was announced on Monday.

All games will be produced and distributed by the newly formed Rangers Sports Network, giving fans a number of different options to access the broadcasts, including traditional means, the Victory+ app and a package of free over-the-air games.

“Given the challenges in the landscape for local game broadcasts the past few years, it was essential for us to provide fans with multiple ways to watch Rangers baseball,” said chairman of the new Rangers Entertainment and Media Company Neil Leibman. “Today’s announcement is the culmination of many months of hard work to build Rangers Sports Network and bring these options to our fans. We are pleased with the efforts to this point and will continue working to create a high-quality broadcast.”

Rangers Sports Network has partnered with several traditional cable and digital television providers, including DirecTV, DIRECTV STREAM, AT&T Uverse and Spectrum. Each provider will have a specific channel to house the Rangers Sports Network. The club is still continuing to finalize deals with other providers.

Earlier this month, the Rangers announced a direct-to-consumer streaming deal with Victory+. Fans in the Rangers’ television territory will be able to purchase a season pass to watch all Rangers games and select Spring Training games on Victory+ for just $100. The Rangers are also planning to provide fans with free over-the-airs games on Fridays during the 2025 season. This will be the first time the club has included OTA games since 2014. RSN is partnering with Nexstar Media Group and Gray Media, both of which control several OTA stations throughout Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. In the DFW area, the OTA games will be televised on KDAF cw33.

There are currently 15 over the air games scheduled, nearly all for home Fridays. The first will be Texas' second regular season game on Friday, March 28 against the Red Sox.
