Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation
The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation works diligently to assist others in our community. During this time the Foundation’s efforts include:
- Donated 50 handkerchiefs and 100 safety glasses to DISD to help with their food distribution
- Donated nearly 1,000 Whataburgers to Medical City Arlington (thanks to a generous donation from Jon and Robyn Daniels and Chris and Erin Woodward
- Working on a program to provide thousands of cloth masks to residents of Arlington
- Launched the Summer Slugger educational program
- More than 1,000,000 meals served weekly through a grant from Big League Impact and partnership with Food for the Soul thanks to generosity from Kyle Gibson, Elvis Andrus, Robinson Chirinos, and Lance Lynn
- More than 3,000 meals provided to healthcare workers
- Financial Grants to SafeHaven of Tarrant County, Mission Arlington, North Texas Food Bank and Meals on Wheels
- Provided 125 Blessings in a Backpack Meal Sacks to Brother Bill’s
- Provided bandanas and safety glasses to Dallas ISD food service employees for meal distributions
- Provided 2,000 cloth Texas Rangers masks to the City of Arlington for distribution to their citizens
- Provided at-home learning opportunities through Summer Slugger, The Other Boys of Summer, Fun at Bat at Home, and Breaking Barriers essay contests
- Continuing to provide scholarship programs and support to our scholarship program recipients
- Chuck Morgan is teaming up with the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation ad Cameo to raise funds for healthcare workers and COVID-19 relief efforts in North Texas.
