High School...Named Boulder County Player of the Year and was selected to play at the High School Futures Game at Coors Field...Played college baseball at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colo., going 22-2 with a 3.13 ERA (204.1 IP), 188 strikeouts and six complete games...Allowed nine home runs to 852 total batters faced while pitching in high altitude (Grand Junction is 4,583 ft above sea level)...Posted a 13-0 record with a 1.41 ERA during his sophomore season, earning First Team All-American, First Team Academic All-American and was the South Central Regional Tournament MVP...Pitched two summers for the Waterloo Bucks of the collegiate summer Northwoods League (2016-17)...His father, Tim Leahy, played college basketball at Kansas State University...His uncle, Thomas Leahy, pitched in the Braves organization (1991-93) advancing to Durham (High-A)...Resides in Boulder, Colo.

Primarily operated out of the bullpen in Memphis (AAA) for the first time in his professional career (2018-23)...Ranked third in the Cardinals organization in appearances (46) behind Andre Granillo (53) and Ryan Loutos (50)...Posted a 5-5 mark with a 7.23 ERA in 44 relief appearances at Memphis, striking out 84 in 71.0 innings pitched...Recorded four outs or more in 28 relief appearances...Fanned a season-high four batters in four different relief outings...Struck out at least one batter in 42 relief appearances and multiple batters in 28 outings...Made four starts in Memphis and was 0-0 with a 3.21 ERA over 14.0 innings allowing 15 hits in those starts...Had his contract selected on July 6...Made his MLB debut the following night at the Chicago White Sox, suffering a blown save and loss (0.2 IP, 2 R, HR, 2 K)...Struck out Tim Anderson (swinging) for his first batter faced...Optioned to Memphis on July 22...Finished the season with a 9.74 ERA (32.1 IP) and 41 strikeouts in his final 18 games for the Redbirds...Outrighted on Oct. 26.

Ended season with a 3.2-inning relief outing vs. AAA-Gwinnett (9/21)....Set a Springfield (AA) single-season record with 144 strikeouts, surpassing Austin Gomber (140) in 2017....Made one relief appearance at Springfield backing up a rehab start by Steven Matz (9/10 vs. San Antonio). Picked up his 10th win tying with Gordon Graceffo for second-most among Cardinals Minor Leaguers....Led all Cardinals Minor League pitchers with 144.2 innings pitched and ranked second with 146 strikeouts and 26 starts....Made nine starts of 6.0+ IP, all quality starts. Threw season-high 7.0 IP twice (vs. Amarillo 5/10 & at NW Arkansas 8/26)....Struck out a season-high nine batters twice (at NW Arkansas 7/22 & at Tulsa 9/16)....Went 21.0 innings without an earned run (8/26-9/16).
