Mathew David Tupman
Matthew David Tupman graduated from Concord (N.H.) High in 1999...Began his college career at Plymouth (N.H.) University and led the team in 2000 hitting .414 with 13 doubles and 35 runs scored...Attended the University of Massachusetts-Lowell...was named a 2nd-team Division II All-American as a junior after batting .363 with 8 home runs and 50 RBI...helped lead the River Hawks to the Division II World Series, earning All-Tournament honors after hitting .389 with 2 homers and 7 RBI...entered the MLB draft following his junior season at Massachusetts-Lowell.
2006
Spent a majority of the season at Wichita before being promoted to Omaha (AAA) in mid-July for the remainder of the season...Hit .305 (67-220) with 8 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 31 RBI and 35 runs scored in 73 games at Wichita...showed a tremendous eye at the plate, drawing 48 walks against just 27 strikeouts. Thrived with the Wranglers with runners in scoring position and 2 outs, hitting .360 (9-25)...Hit .247 (18-73) with 9 runs and 4 RBI in limited duty with Omaha in 21 games...did draw 8 walks and struck out just 6 times.

Spent the entire season with Wichita (AA) and played in a career high 109 games...Hit .263 (96-365) with 59 runs, 16 doubles, 2 triples, 2 home runs and 32 RBI...also drew 46 walks while striking out just 62 times...set new career highs in games, at bats, runs, walks and strikeouts.
