New for the Holidays! Phillies Productions Debuts '2024 Phanatic Yule Log'
Swoop, Gritty, Phang and Franklin the Dog, along with Phillies broadcasters, make cameos in this hilarious new video to celebrate the season
Philadelphia sports fans are invited to cozy up by the fireplace and watch the “2024 Phanatic Yule Log,” created by Phillies Productions and now available on the Phillies YouTube channel.
This fun-filled, hour-long video is set in the decorated Phillies Clubhouse and features the antics of the Phillie Phanatic as he welcomes his surprise guests, who all come bearing gifts in honor of the holidays. Mascots from area sports teams making cameos include Swoop from the Philadelphia Eagles, Franklin the Dog from the Philadelphia 76ers, Gritty from the Philadelphia Flyers and Phang from the Philadelphia Union.
Phillies broadcaster Larry Andersen also makes a special appearance, while fellow broadcaster Tom McCarthy provides a voice-over.
This is the 5th “Phanatic Yule Log” release, which will also air on NBC Sports Philadelphia on December 25, Christmas Day, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
