Bohm, Suárez among six Phils avoiding arbitration with 2025 deals

PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies and six players on Thursday agreed to 2025 contracts, avoiding salary arbitration.

The group included third baseman , who agreed to a $7.7 million deal.

Bohm and the Phillies went to an arbitration hearing last spring, which Bohm won. Bohm has been the subject of trade rumors this offseason, but he is likely to remain with the organization with Spring Training a little more than a month away.

Left-hander ($8.8 million), left-hander ($6.225 million), second baseman ($3.2 million), outfielder ($3 million) and infielder ($3 million) also agreed to deals.

Right-hander José Ruiz ($1.2 million) and catcher Garrett Stubbs ($925,000) agreed to deals in November. They also were eligible for salary arbitration.
