Charitable Giving

The Phillies contribute to the community with monetary and ticket donations.

In 2021, Phillies Charities, Inc. awarded more than $885,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations who provide vital resources to those in need. Recipients include 30 area charities who each received $20,000 in grants, with an additional $285,000 in grants awarded to Phillies community partners. Grants were provided in part from the support of fans who participated in the team’s auctions, raffles and memorabilia events held this past season. Phillies Charities, Inc. serves as the fundraising arm of the Phillies organization and awards grants to a variety of charitable organizations each year.

• Due to strong fan and partner support, several Phillies events contributed largely to the grant fund. Among them: the Phillies Charities 50/50 Drawing, as well as The Phantastic Auction, an online auction experience featuring unique items and major league experiences, which raised over $106,000 for Phillies Charities,
• 125,000 tickets were donated to local charitable organizations throughout the Philadelphia area, including 40,000 tickets which were donated to members of the military and their families.
