Favorite Photos From 2024
All year long, members of the Orioles front office, coaches, and players work tirelessly to make each baseball season better than the last. They work hard every single day to make their amazing feats of athleticism look effortless, to create a welcoming and exciting environment for fans, to break records, and to create impactful moments whether it is a grand slam smashed to Eutaw Street or a walk-off hit. In each of those moments, Orioles team photographers are capturing the emotions, both in the stands and on the field, turning them into memories, and building a historical archive to look back at for years to come.
Some of those photos make their way onto Orioles social media platforms and are seen by thousands of people. Others do not make it off our computer. As we reflect on another year of Orioles baseball, it is time that we look back on some of the photos we cherish the most. Some of the photos I have chosen you may have already seen, but some will be new to you.
I am grateful to be able to share work that I am proud of, whether previously seen or not. These aspects of the Orioles, from the big emotions to the small moments, are my favorite moments from the 2024 season. - Peyton Stoike: Coordinator, Team Photography
It’s almost impossible to encapsulate an entire baseball season in 75 photos. In my case, joining the Orioles photo team halfway through the season meant I had an added challenge: figuring out how to convey the team’s identity through my lens while the games were already being played. It took realizing how Oriole Park, the fans, and the smallest of details combine to form who the team is, both on and off the field, to construct a vision I could convey through each photo I took.
From the quiet pregame moments in the dugout to the loudest roars of a sold-out ballpark, this season had it all, complete with historic home runs, dogs donning hot dog race t-shirts, and plenty of antics on team photo day, of course.
Together, these photos tell the story of the 2024 Baltimore Orioles through my lens. A story that goes beyond the action on the field to highlight a group of players who are more than just teammates. A story that places value on the details, and on each person who made the season what it was. - Anna Fuder: Orioles Photography Intern
