CEO Dan Foster began his tenure at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association in 1986 after a successful career in banking and a previous position as the national sales director of Hawaiian Tropic. He has been a part of the leadership team from the incipient stages. Foster has witnessed the incredible growth from every aspect of the organization, including: the inception of Major League Alumni Marketing, overseeing approximately $70 million raised for charitable causes, giving back more than $3 million a year directly to former players, securing pensions for a group of former players that lacked that security, and developing the Legends for Youth clinic series. He is extremely proud of the team that has been assembled under him.

Foster is a graduate of Ohio Northern University, where he was an All-America basketball star and held the all-time leading scoring record for more than 30 years. Continuing his higher education, Foster also holds a graduate degree from School of Banking South at Louisiana State University. He currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colo., with his wife, Margaret, and their son, Austin.

Geoff C. Hixson

Geoff Hixson has been with the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association since 1997. His duties include the coordination of the MLBPAA staff, overseeing the execution of celebrity fundraising events and free youth clinics for kids nationwide. In addition, he is responsible for the expansion and continued growth of the organization by helping to diversify existing programs and the creation of new programs to involve the former and current Major League player in the charity-based mission of the MLBPAA.

Hixson has more than 20 years of sport and special event background. He spent three years in Minor League Baseball with the Texas Rangers Triple-A affiliate, the Oklahoma City 89ers (now Dodgers) and two years at Oklahoma Events, a marketing and special events company, where he assisted in the coordination of many events, including the Vince Gill Celebrity Golf Classic.

Born and raised in Central Illinois, Hixson received a bachelor's degree in communications from Southern Illinois University in 1993 and a master's degree in sport management from the University of Oklahoma in 1996. He resides in Colorado Springs, Colo., with his wife, Nancy, and two daughters, Avery and Bryce.

Christopher D. Torgusen

Chris Torgusen has worked for the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association since 1992. He currently serves as senior vice president of Legends Entertainment Group. His responsibilities include directing appearances and licensing programs for members of the Alumni Association. He began his career with the MLBPAA, managing events for the Swing With the Legends Charity Golf Series, Legends for Youth Clinic Series and Baseball for Kids Weekend.

Torgusen graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's in business administration. He currently resides in Tampa, Fla., with wife, Christine, and two sons, Tighe and Colin.

Mike Groll

Mike Groll has been with the MLBPAA since 2004. His responsibilities include the coordination and execution of fundraising events for various charities nationwide. In addition, he works with the entire MLBPAA staff to assist the overall growth and expansion of the association.

Groll has more than 10 years of sports background, including two years in the athletic department's marketing and development office at the United States Air Force Academy.

Born and raised in Defiance, Ohio, Groll received a bachelor's in sports and business management from Defiance College. While at Defiance, Groll was a four-letter winner and was third-team All-American in football. After graduation, Groll went on to serve as a graduate assistant football coach at Defiance for three years, receiving his master's in education.

Groll currently resides in Phoenix, Ariz.

Cameron Bell

Cameron Bell joined the MLBPAA staff in February 2019 to serve as the Marketing Coordinator for Major League Alumni Marketing. Cameron graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in sport management in the fall of 2016. Upon graduation, Bell interned with the Select Sports Group, a top-five football representation agency. After completing his tenure with Select Sports Group, he interned with the NFLPA in their Player Services department.

Bell currently resides in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Chris Burkeen

Chris Burkeen joined the MLBPAA staff in January 2014 and currently serves as the Director of Information Technology. He graduated from Colorado State University (CSU) with a bachelor's in exercise science. Burkeen oversees network operations, database management, technology resources and project management.

Burkeen currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Emily Castro joined the MLBPAA staff in February 2023 as a Special Events Coordinator. Castro graduated from Western Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and minors in sports management and marketing. She also played four years of college softball for the Catamounts. Castro then attended the University of Florida and earned her master’s degree in Sports Management with a specialization in Law while being a graduate assistant manager for the Gators' softball team.

Prior to the MLBPAA, Castro worked at the MLB's Arizona Fall League and was an intern for Cam Newton.

Castro currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Beneta Forehand

Beneta Forehand joined the MLBPAA staff in December 2021 as the Accounting HR Assistant and is part of the Accounting and Human Resources team for MLBPAA and MLAM. Previously, Forehand worked as the accountant for a local construction company specializing in custom homes. She has also worked as the accountant for a local attorney and a staff accountant for a software development company.

Forehand currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Jennifer Gulino

Jennifer Gulino rejoined the Major League Alumni Marketing Team in July 2018. Jen graduated in 2007 with a degree in Business Marketing from Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. Following graduation, Jen honed her sports memorabilia talent with companies such as Steiner Sports and All American Collectibles before making her way into the MLAM family. During her time away from Major League Alumni Marketing, she sharpened her skills at SP Images LLC as a National Account Manager for Hand Signed and Game Used Memorabilia and Lead Buyer. Ultimately, she returned home to MLAM to assist her team in wholesale memorabilia sales as well as handle player relations, signings and exclusive memorabilia contracts.

Jen currently resides in Sparta, N.J. with her husband and three amazing kids.

Jaden Hoffman

Jaden Hoffman joined the MLBPAA staff in January of 2022 as the Licensing Coordinator for MLAM. Hoffman graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tampa in the fall of 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management and a minor in business analytics. While in college, Jaden interned with Excel Sports Management and helped manage the University of Tampa baseball team.

Matt Jones joined the MLBPAA staff in February 2016 as the Development Assistant. He graduated with a business degree from California State University – Northridge (CSUN) and will be finishing up his MBA from UCCS in May of 2023. His past experience includes work in accounts payable, sports merchandise and coaching high school baseball.

Jones currently resides with his wife Lisa in Colorado Springs, Colo. with his wife Lisa and baby boy, Robert.

Sheryl Loggins

Sheryl Loggins came to MLAM through a temp agency in 2011, joining the team officially in 2012. Her responsibilities include accounting functions mainly with MLAM, while also assisting on the MLBPAA accounting side as well. Prior to working in her present position, Loggins held accounting positions in the construction and real estate fields and also worked as a records technician for the Fountain Police Department.

Sheryl lives in Southern Colorado with her husband, Lobo, her two Greyhounds, and her horse.

Tracey Lucero-Corsi joined the MLBPAA and MLAM staff in October 2014 as the controller, responsible for overseeing all accounting and human-resource functions. Lucero-Corsi has more than 15 years of controller experience, most recently serving as the chief financial officer for Biotest, LLC. Prior to working as a controller, Lucero-Corsi spent time as an auditor for KPMG and Peat Marwick directly following her graduation from Texas Christian University with a bachelor's in accounting.

Lucero-Corsi currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colo., with her husband, Dewayne, and two children, Taylor and Jake.

Diego McCollum

Diego McCollum joined the MLBPAA staff in January 2019. He is a part of the special events team and is responsible for MLBPAA coaches clinics. McCollum graduated in 2016 from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kan., where he played three years of baseball and attained a bachelor's degree in psychology. After graduating, Diego interned for the American Baseball Coaches Association for a year.

McCollum currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colo. with his partner Evonna and baby boy, Jacobi.

Kendall Meisner

Kendall Meisner joined the MLBPAA staff in August 2019 as the Digital Media Assistant. Meisner graduated from Arizona State University in May 2019 with a B.A. in sports journalism. Prior to the MLBPAA, Meisner interned with the Las Vegas 51s- the New York Mets Triple-A affiliate, and spent three years with the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers marketing department during spring training.

A native of Cedar City, Utah, Meisner currently resides in Phoenix, Ariz.

Landon Ocker joined the MLBPAA special events team in January 2017 following his communications and membership internship with the organization in the fall of 2016. Ocker graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in sport management and a minor in marketing. While attending Central Missouri, Ocker competed for two years on the university club baseball team.

Prior to the MLBPAA, Ocker served as a marketing intern and a seasonal ticket sales representative for the University of Missouri - Kansas City Athletic Department.

Ocker currently resides in Denver, Colo.

Emily Priddy joined the MLBPAA staff in May 2021 as the Digital Marketing Specialist. Priddy graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2016 with a B.A. in journalism. Prior to the MLBPAA, Priddy worked at A2Z Ozone and DENIOS, working to grow their ecommerce presence through content creation and digital advertising.

Priddy currently resides in Louisville, KY.

Victor Quiroga

Victor Quiroga joined the MLBPAA staff in December 2021 as an International Events Assistant. Quiroga graduated from Florida Southern College in 2020 and received a B.S. in sports marketing and communications, with minors in sports management and business administration. While attending Florida Southern College, Quiroga worked two years as an assistant game manager for their athletic department and interned for the Orlando Magic’s G-league team, the Lakeland Magic, later serving as a full-time ticket sales associate.

A native of Bogota, Colombia, Quiroga currently resides in Tampa, Fla.

Greg Thomas

Greg Thomas joined the MLBPAA staff in October 2011 after graduating from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder with a bachelor's in business administration and a concentration in marketing. Thomas is excited to broaden the non-profit memorabilia efforts of the MLBPAA.

While at Colorado, he interned with the MLBPAA in 2008 and the CU Athletic Department in 2010, where he coordinated and assisted with numerous CU sports promotional activities. Thomas' background with competitive baseball has taught him a true appreciation for the game.

Thomas completed his master's in project management from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater in fall 2014 and currently resides in Denver, Colo. with his wife, Allie.

Ryan Thomas

Ryan Thomas began his tenure with Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association in February 2012. He serves as director of player marketing for Major League Alumni Marketing at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., with MLAM Vice President Chris Torgusen, where the two develop appearances and licensing programs for members of the Alumni.

Prior, the native New Englander attended the University of Massachusetts at Boston, where he graduated in 2010 with a bachelor's in English and worked as sports editor of the University's newspaper The Mass Media for two years.

In spring 2010, Thomas moved to Florida and worked in the Tampa Bay Rays Communications Department for the duration of the 2010 season and the second half of the 2011 season. In 2011, he was a part of the Rays' amazing September run to the American League Wild Card.

Thomas currently resides in central Florida with his wife, Samantha, and his two little boys.

Kate Tyo

Kate Tyo joined the MLBPAA staff in 2012 and oversees the Membership and Development Departments, key programs such as the Career Development Program and Alumni Days Series as well as Board of Director initiatives. Tyo graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration and master's in educational administration and leadership from University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif. Prior to the MLBPAA, Tyo worked for the Oakland Athletics and her alma mater.

Tyo currently resides in North Carolina with her husband, Jarrett, and two kids, Hudson and Mackenzie.
