Venue Experience

Please be prepared for crowded concourses and potentially long lines at concession stands and merchandise outlets. Lawn chairs or blankets/towels are not permitted to be placed on the floor.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES – Citi Field offers several accommodations for our guests with disabilities, including seating, wheelchair entry, drinking fountains, elevators, the left field ramp, various listening, transmitting and noise cancelling devices, parking, restrooms, closed captioning and wheelchair requests. ADULT CHANGING TABLES – Adult Changing Tables are available in the Family Restrooms located behind Sections 312 and 420.

BANNERS – The New York Mets allow banners, signs and flags (without flag poles or any other solid supporting structure) to be displayed in the stadium as long as they do not obstruct views of other guests and do not block other signage in Citi Field. Signs should not interfere with the game, your fellow guests’ enjoyment of the game, or carry disparaging, commercial, political or obscene messages. Signs must be baseball-related and may not contain language deemed inappropriate by Citi Field management. They may only be displayed between innings as well as before and after the conclusion of the game. Banners and signs must utilize only cloth, paper or other light, flexible materials, rather than be comprised of or supported by wood, metal or other hard materials that could be dangerous in a crowded public setting. Any banner or sign may be removed at the sole discretion of Citi Field management and Citi Field management reserves the right to restrict the presence of signs and banners in specific ballpark locations.

CASHLESS FACILITY – Citi Field a cashless facility. Cash will not be accepted at parking lots, ticket windows, concession stands or retail stores. For guests who only have cash as a form of payment, there are “reverse ATMs” at various locations around the ballpark.

CELL PHONE CHARGING – There are charging tables installed on the Excelsior Level (first and third base side bars) and Clover/Fiserv Level (inside the Clover Homeplate Club from Fiserv near the Jackie Robinson Rotunda escalators) for guests with access. Additionally, there are two charging tables on the Field Level behind Sections 101 and 128.

CHILDREN’S TICKETS – All persons entering the ballpark who are 32” or taller require a ticket. Children under 32” tall do not require a ticket but must sit on a parent’s lap during the game without obstructing the view of other guests. A seat will not be provided without a ticket.

EBBS – EBBS is located on the exterior of Citi Field between the Right Field and Bullpen Gates. Guests do not need a game ticket to enter EBBS. Once a guest enters Citi Field they will have to fully exit the ballpark to access EBBS. EBBS offers a plethora of locally brewed beers on tap as well as small bites.

EXIT & RE-ENTRY – Guests that exit the ballpark will not be allowed to re-enter. Guests leaving the ballpark for exceptional circumstances may be permitted to re-enter, provided they have received approval from a Security or Guest Service Supervisor at the respective gate before exiting.

FAMILY RESTROOMS – The fifteen (15) Family Restrooms may be found at:

  • Clover/Fiserv Level: Clover Homeplate Club (2) at opposite ends of the club
  • Field Level: Sections 111, 114, 121, 124 and 130
  • Empire Suite Level: Across from Suites 204 and 240
  • Excelsior Level: Sections 312, 326 and 339
  • Promenade Level: Sections 409, 420 and 430

FAN ASSISTANCE NUMBER – (646) 438-5000

Guests experiencing an issue that is not related to the action on the playing field (i.e. broken seats, unruly fans, hazardous concourse conditions) should alert Ballpark Operations by calling or texting the Fan Assistance Number. The Fan Assistance Number is monitored on a real-time basis in the Command Post and is operational from the time gates open to the time gates close.

FIRST AID – The Ambulnz First Aid room is located on the Field Level across from the Hyundai Club third base entrance.

GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT – We are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all. Therefore, guests should be aware of the following policies:

  • Guests will enjoy the ballpark experience free from foul, abusive and/or derogatory language or obscene gestures.
  • Intervention with an impaired or intoxicated guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Obscene or indecent clothing will not be permitted to detract from the guest experience.
  • Guests will show their tickets when requested and sit only in their ticketed seats.

Note: Guests should be encouraged to keep their tickets with them at all times

  • Guests will refrain from conduct not appropriate in a public, family setting
  • The progress of the game will not be disrupted by guests’ actions or unauthorized persons on the playing field.
  • Smoking or use of Tobacco products including e-cigarettes is prohibited at Citi Field.
  • Violators are subject to ejection and possible loss of ticket privileges. Guests experiencing an issue that is not related to the action on the playing field should call or text the Guest Assistance Hotline at (646)-438-5000 or alert nearest Citi Field personnel.
  • Biometric Data Disclosure: Citi Field collects, retains, converts, stores, or shares customers’ biometric identifier information, which is information that can be used to identify or help identify you. Examples of biometric identifier information are facial scans, eye scans and voiceprints.

LOST AND FOUND – The Citi Field Lost and Found Office is located in the Jackie Robinson Rotunda next to the Ticket Office lobby. On game days, the office is open from the time gates open until 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game. A guest can fill out an online claim form via mets.com/lostandfound to inquire about a lost item.

All items turned into the Lost and Found and not claimed 30 days after the conclusion of the baseball season will be donated to charity.

NURSING STATION – Presented by Northwell Health, a pod is available for nursing mothers on the Empire Suite Level, across from Suite 213. Access to this level is restricted to those whose ticket grants them access. If your ticket does not grant you access, please stop by any Guest Assistance location to obtain an all-day pass that will grant you access to this level and allow you use of the Nursing Station.

QUIET AREAS – Guests needing the use of a quiet area can utilize the Hodges (first base), Seaver (third base), or Stengel (left field) elevator lobbies on the Plaza Level (Level 1). First Aid stations may also be available.

SENSORY INCLUSION – Partnering with Kulture City, Citi Field is striving to make all events more inclusive and comfortable for guests with sensory processing needs. The following

sensory resources are available at no charge at the Lost and Found located in the Jackie Robinson Rotunda for use during events:

  • Light Sensitivity Sunglasses
  • Noise Reducing Headphones
  • Sensory Bags
  • Weighted Lap Pads

A valid credit card or acceptable form of picture identification, such as a valid driver’s license or non-driver government-issued photo ID card, is required as a deposit. Additionally, Citi Field team members are trained to recognize opportunities to assist with these guests’ enjoyment of the game.

SENSORY NOOK – A Sensory Nook is located on the Empire Suite Level across from Suite 229. This space is available to fans looking for a quiet area during a concert. Access to this level is restricted to those whose ticket grants them access. If you’re ticket does not grant you access, please stop by any Fan Assistance location to obtain an all-day pass that will grant you access to this level and allow you use of the Sensory Nook.

SERVICE ANIMALS – A service animal is a working animal, not a pet. Service animals are permitted at Citi Field. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines a service animal as any dog, such as a guide dog or signal dog that is individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. This includes psychiatric service animals that are individually trained to provide service to individuals with psychiatric or neurological disabilities, such as preventing or interrupting impulsive or destructive behaviors. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered at all times, unless special circumstances exist, and will be required to rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and employees, or whose animal is not housebroken, may be asked to escort the animal off the premises. Guests are directed to see a supervisor at the Hodges VIP entrance for directions on where to go for the Service Animal relief area.

SMOKING – Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, and vaping pens, is prohibited in Citi Field. There are no designated smoking areas, and re-entry is prohibited. Violators are subject to immediate ejection without refund and may face possible revocation of season tickets and/or future ticket privileges.
