For the third time this year, Major League Baseball plays in Mexico
The final series in Mexico for 2019 brought with it big stars - Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman and many more travelled down to Mexico for the two game series. Both teams delivered big highlights for the excited crowd. For the Angels, veteran Albert Pujols notched his 1,999 career RBI, while young Astros star Alex Bregman hit three home runs over the two-game set. In the end, the Astros slugged their way to a series sweep of the Angels, driving in 24 runs over two games.

Astros hit 5 HR in series opener
The Astros' bats were on fire from start to finish in the series opener against the Angels in Mexico. Four Astros' - Bregman, Brantley, Gurriel, and Springer - hit a total of five home runs on their way to a 14-2.
Bregman mic'd up during BP
Astros' third-baseman Alex Bregman, who slugged three home runs during the series, was mic'd up during batting practice in Mexico. He jokes with his teammates and shows off his Spanish skills.

Astros win series finale
With a solid pitching performance by Justin Verlander leading the way, the Astros won the second and final game of the series against the Angels 10-4. The Astros bats stayed hot with three more home runs.
2019 Mexico Series - April
Major League Baseball returns to Mexico for a regular season match-up
The St. Louis Cardinals and the Cincinnati Reds faced off for the first set of regular season games in Monterrey, Mexico during the 2019 season. The series was full of fun personalities - from the Reds' Yasiel Puig and Eugenio Suarez to the Cardinals' Matt Carpenter, Harrison Bader and Yadier Molina - there were laughs, smiles, and plenty of highlights from both teams. The back-and-forth series ended in a split, with each team winning one game.

Dietrich's strong game in Mexico
Derek Dietrich continued his good start to the season by leading his team to win game 1 of the series in Monterrey. Dietrich hit a towering home run in the 7th inning and a clutch run-scoring triple in the 8th inning.

Carpenter's Mexico Series salsa
MLB's Salsa King, Matt Carpenter, is known for making his own salsa in St. Louis. While in Mexico, he worked with the stadium's chef to create his own Mexico Series salsa, which brought his team luck in game 2.

Marcel Ozuna's 2-homer game
Ozuna's big game 2 led the Cardinals to a 5-2 win over the Reds, splitting the Mexico Series. He knew it was going to be a big game - during BP, Ozuna promised he'd hit a home run…he hit two.
2019 Mexico Series - Spring Training
Major League Baseball travels to Mexico for some Spring Training fun
International play for the 2019 season kicked off in Monterrey, Mexico when the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks met on March 9 and 10 for some Spring Training fun in the sun. Both teams brought big energy and smiles to the ballpark and put on a show for the Monterrey fans. The two teams split the series with the Rockies winning the first game and the Diamondbacks winning the second.
