In Talent and Production Partnership with Spitfire Wheels - Enjoy Skate Day at Oracle Park on Saturday, May 18, as the rich skateboarding history of San Francisco blends with the excitement of Giants baseball. There’s nothing like the thrill of watching skateboarding pros show off their tricks. Open to the public, experience the Giants first ever Skate Jam in McCovey Cove. Cheer on skateboarding pros Raney Beres, Tony Trujillo, Jack Curtin and Eli Williams as they showcase their talents on a specially produced ramp that will float on the waters of McCovey Cove. Join us for an evening of both baseball and authentic skateboard culture, as your San Francisco Giants shred their way to victory.
Plus, the first 15,000 fans that enter Oracle Park for the game against the visiting Colorado Rockies will receive a Long Sleeve Hooded Shirt, presented by Planet Orange and designed by the talented San Francisco based artist, Jeremy Fish. Rockies vs. Giants first pitch is at 1:05 p.m.
The inspiration for Jeremy Fish’s SF design: Using his signature style, Jeremy Fish's new iteration of the iconic Giants block SF pays tribute to the connection of the city of San Francisco and its rich history of baseball and skateboard culture. From iconic spots in North Beach to hidden gems across the city, his art embraces the spirit of adventure that defines San Francisco. In celebration of his artwork displayed on the front of the Long Sleeve Hooded shirt, he will be throwing out the First Toss prior to the game, courtesy of presenting partner, Planet Orange.
The Skate Jam in McCovey Cove will take place from 10:45 a.m.-1:05 p.m. Open to the public, enjoy views of the action from the new China Basin Park located in the Mission Rock neighborhood across from McCovey Cove, or get to your seats early.

Tony Trujillo - Born and raised in Santa Rosa and longtime San Francisco resident Tony Trujillo has been a heavy hitter in the SF skateboarding scene for decades now, landing his spot on Spitfire and Anti-Hero skateboards at the age of only 14 and has never slowed down once, becoming Thrasher Magazine’s Skater Of The Year in 2002, known for skating fast and repping SF to the fullest.
Jack Curtin - A San Franciscan resident for over two decades, Jack Curtin is a veteran of the SF skate scene with a long list of hits on all the iconic SF Spots from Pier 7 to the Bay Blocks, repping Spitfire Wheels alongside several other local SF brands and of course, he’s a die-hard Giants fan.
Raney Beres - Texas-born backyard pool fanatic Raney Beres is known for his raw power, an appreciation of skateboarding’s lore past and present, and as a partner in Oakland’s local skate shop, Break Free.
Eli Williams - Eli can be found most days flying around the Potrero Del Sol skatepark in the mission and throughout the cities endless skate spots. Known for his ability to skate anything. The floating ramp in McCovey cove should be no problem.
Chico Brenes - Certified Bay Area Skateboard legend Chico Brenes has been influencing and driving the SF skate scene for over three decades now. Originally from Nicaragua, he came to SF at a young age and has gone on to have a storied professional career as an OG Embarcadero local, riding for Girl & Chocolate skateboards and starting his own brand Chico Stix as well as helping establish Nicaragua’s first skateboard shop.
